Moxxie thought today was going to be well normal.

Scratch that. Normal as it can be for a typical day at IMP.

It was just only three of them.

Millie requested an early day off to go to Wrath. A family event was happening so Blitz let her go. Striker had to go bring Bombproof over to Wrath as well for a vet appointment. Plus, only work four days a week. So, he used today as his non-work day. Which left Blitz, Loona, and Moxxie.

There weren't a lot of kills today. Just two that were fairly easy.

"Can we just go? I got to go get ready." Loona taps the desk a bit.

"I understand sweetie but it still working hours. Anybody could walk in any second."

"There only two hours left!"

"Yes, I know- "

"I can stay."

The pair look at Moxxie come out the meeting room.

"Wait. You sure?"

Moxxie shrugged a bit. "I'm just finishing up some paperwork. Won't be anyone else probably. Just in case I'll stay. If it's big I'll call."

"I don- "

"Hey they offered. Let's go." Loona gets up as she already out the door.

"She seems jumpy?"

"Well Loonie going to a party tonight." Blitz grumbled as he was looking at his phone. "Still think I have time to convince her not to go."

"She is an adult. Can't stop her besides take the apartment key away."

"That cruel!"

"Go."

"Yeah, yeah, I'm going! If you need anything call. That means anything."

"Do the paperwork."

The door slammed shut fast.

So, yeah after that finished everything. Hopefully no issues for a while. It does get tiring that they are the only ones doing this kind of paperwork. Feed the eels. Clean up the offices. Check inventory storage.

He didn't realize how long he had been here till he got a call. Pull his phone out to see it was 9:07 P.M. Not late but wouldn't usually still be here. Then notice the text.

Moxxie only went to Blitz, Loona apartment twice. It was to drop off some soup when the pair had terrible flu. But they didn't stay too long. Plus, it felt like Blitz didn't want them to come inside.
