As the math class drew to a close, the dynamics of the classroom began to shift. Shahzain's entrance had brought a wave of excitement among the students, and it wasn't just Aidah who had noticed his striking presence.

Girls from all corners of the classroom couldn't help but be captivated by Shahzain's charm and charisma. Their giggles and hushed whispers filled the air as they exchanged glances, wondering who would be the lucky one to catch his attention.

Amina, the confident one of the group, was the first to approach Shahzain. She flashed a charming smile as she introduced herself. "Hey, Shahzain, right? You're new here, right?"

Shahzain nodded with a polite smile. "Yes, that's me. I'm from Hyderabad, and I came to Pune for my academics."

Mia, with her eyes fixed on Shahzain, couldn't help but compliment him. "You look amazing in those black formals!"

Aaima joined the conversation eagerly. "Are you into sports? You look athletic!"

Shahzain replied with a nod, "Yes, I played cricket back in Hyderabad."

Bushra, her curiosity piqued, asked, "So, Shahzain, what's your favorite subject?"

Shahzain considered for a moment. "I'm inclined towards science, particularly physics."

Nadiya, who had been waiting for her chance, inquired with a warm smile, "Do you have any siblings?"

"I have a younger sister," Shahzain replied.

Hiba, always the friendly one, tried to break the ice. "We usually hang out at the nearby café after school. You should join us sometime!"

Shahzain accepted the invitation with a non-committal nod, his eyes briefly darting toward Aidah, who sat in the corner, looking visibly uncomfortable as the girls surrounded him. Aidah's discomfort was palpable. She had grown accustomed to their virtual connection, where Shahzain's attention had been hers alone. Now, watching the girls fawn over him, a sense of unease crept over her. She couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy, even though she knew it was irrational.

Meanwhile, Shahzain engaged in conversations with a group of boys who had taken an interest in him. Musab, a sports enthusiast, couldn't resist asking, "Do you play any sports? We have a football match this weekend."

Shahzain, responding with a hint of enthusiasm, said, "I used to play cricket. Football sounds fun; maybe I'll join you guys sometime."

Omid, with a friendly smile, introduced Shahzain to the rest of the boys. "This is Ali, Aabid, and Hamza. We usually hang out after school and play football."

Shahzain acknowledged each of them with a nod, his attention continually drifting back to Aidah. He understood that the attention from the girls was making her uneasy. In a subtle gesture, he minimized his interactions with the girls, responding with nods and brief replies, and avoided making eye contact with them.

The girls, oblivious to Aidah's feelings, continued to orbit around Shahzain, each hoping to capture a fragment of his attention. But Shahzain's heart had already found its place, and his gaze remained fixed on Aidah, the girl who had captured not just his eyes but his heart as well.

The classroom had transformed into a battleground of emotions, where attraction, jealousy, and discomfort mingled in the air. The complexities of their budding romance were beginning to manifest, and the challenges of navigating a world filled with new admirers were just beginning to surface.
