"Just what you guys have known, this is the Celestial Arcane! And here is the leader, Aries known as Lee Byul. They will be the members of the Special Division Team from now on. Let's welcome them with open arms!"
The palm hitting each other's sound was echoed in the restaurant.
"Please enjoy this humble party as a way to show our gratitude upon you to be working with us from now on."
"It was an honour for me, Director. I actually hope to meet with the Chairman today, looks like it was not my day."
The Director's smile twitched slightly.
"He was busy with work, that is why he sent me here to work on this small party with some of the team members in our Company."
"I appreciate your effort, Director."
Lee Byul put her hand on the Director's shoulder.
"Let's get along well."
The Director sweatdropped before he turned towards the people who were waiting to toss a drink.
"Ah, please. We should start now. Raise your glass everyone! Let's have a toss for the Special Division Team!"
"Cheers!"
The clacking sound rejuvenated. People drank the soju with a content expression. Some of them even add another glass after the previous one.
"Let's have a toss, Team Leader Lee Byul."
"Of course, Director."
She clacked her glass against the Director's before she gulped down the transparent liquid down her throat in a single gulp, closing her eyes a moment when she could feel the burning sensation on her throat.
"Aries, don't drink too much."
"Who did you take me for, Taurus? I can handle three bottles."
Taurus squinted his eyes.
"Tomorrow is still a working day, please be mindful."
"Fine, fine."
She waved her hand at Taurus, also looking at her team members who were exchanging a conversation with other people. Her team members who she knew as a quiet one were having their alone time drinking.
All in all, she knew her team members were not overwhelmed by this situation. That's enough for now.
She picked up a meat to put in her mouth, savouring the taste before she took another gulp of soju that was poured by Taurus into her glass.
"You should socialise too."
"I'm fine."
Lee Byul clicked her tongue before she snatched the soju bottle from Taurus to pour it into his glass.
"Then drink with me."
Without complaint, he finished the soju with one swing. Lee Byul filled in another one.
At the moment when she was only with Taurus, the Director will occasionally talk to her regarding her experience outside and working.
Some of the team leaders came to her to have a talk too. She was preoccupied with everyone swarming at her and asking her so many questions. Fortunately, Taurus was with her to answer most of it.
When they saw the indifference on her face after so long being surrounded by them, they began to move away from her due to being afraid of being on her bad side.
"May I pour you a glass?"
She wanted to glare at the one who threw her a question now. She realised she has been slightly intoxicated by soju by now after exchanging a cup of soju with many people just now.
