"Team leader, I heard the Manju Guild is coming here to form a contract with us."
Lee Soohyuk looked up towards one of his co-workers.
"Yes, the leader of the guild is discussing the contract right now with the Director. Why?"
The woman rubbed the back of her neck, her eyes rolled elsewhere than at Lee Soohyuk. Lee Soohyuk raised his eyebrows by the sudden act of nervousness.
"Are you okay, Park Chumin?"
The woman flinched, but the nervousness was clear evidence in her posture. Lee Soohyuk noticed that she gave a subtle glance at the desk near him or more like towards the man that was focused on his work.
"No, no, I'm fine. I just want to ask that because I saw them just now."
Lee Soohyuk intertwined his fingers and propped his head on it.
"Tell me."
"Uh."
"What is it in your mind? Is anything wrong?"
"N..no. There's nothing wrong, this is not even work related. Haha, I'm sorry for bothering you, team leader. I'll continue my work now."
"Park Chumin."
She halted her movement and fidgeting.
"Tell me now. Is something wrong with the leader of the Manju Guild? Has he done something to you?"
Park Chumin quickly shook her head and her hands.
"No, no. Not me but..."
Lee Soohyuk raised an eyebrow, noticing another glance thrown at the man on the desk.
"Team Leader of Special Division Team."
By just mentioning that, the movement of the man stopped before he raised his head. His reddish-brown eyes looked at Park Chumin.
"Why is that? What happened?"
Lee Soohyuk narrowed his eyes.
"Erm um, it just. I.. I heard, the leader of Manju Guild.. not going to sign the contract if it was not Team Leader Kim from the Special Division Team in the meeting room. Erm.. he, he even declared that he will s..steal Team Leader Kim if the Director refused."
The silence from Lee Soohyuk makes the woman sweating. Maybe she shouldn't tell this to Team Leader Lee. But all of them know how the relationship between Lee Byul and Lee Soohyuk is.
Moreover, Kim Roksoo is her husband which was not known by many. She could say the amount of people who knew about the change in Lee Byul and Kim Roksoo's marital status is only Team 1 and Special Division Team.
If not she just wanted to ignore it after she saw the leader of Manju Guild but she quite worried over Lee Byul considering that Manju Guild is one of the biggest guilds in this area.
She was worried that the leader would do something to Lee Byul, which Team 1 has formed a special bond with along with the Special Division Team. The leader of Manju Guild was known to be a lunatic.
"I.. I'm sorry. It was not necessary for me to tell you. I should just mind my own business."
Lee Soohyuk brushed away her concern with his languid smile.
"Thank you for telling me, Park Chumin. You can go back to do your work."
Park Chumin nodded before dawdled to her desk. Lee Soohyuk's eyes met with Kim Roksoo's.
