"You are absolutely killing me." Choi Jia, one of Taeri's best friends spoke as she looked at Taeri who didn't seem to care.

"Taeri, you have a soulmate, you have to care to find him at least." Yerin, another one of her friends spoke as they all tried to convince her.

"Taeri, this is you're chance to fall in love, god know's what's going to happen next- all i know is that the other three wont be happy." Soyeon spoke.

The three girls, Yerin, Soyeon and Jia were Taeri's best friends as well as three more girls. Unfortunately, Hana, Hera and Areum weren't there due to some personal business they had to deal with in the alternate universe.

The seven of them had been friends since they were five and they've always been close ever since.
It was the seven of them since then and they relied on each other so much. They treated each other like sisters and family since they really only had each other anyways.

"Girl, you have to understand, once the mark is there, it never goes away. Even if you dont make an effort to look for your soulmate, destiny will eventually bring the two of you together." Jia looked at her.

"What if it doesn't, what if finding my soulmate isn't worth it?" Taeri asked.

"Oh my goodness, Jeong Taeri! I don't care if you dont want to, you have to. He will come, and you will meet him, so be prepared." Jia raised her voice as Taeri stayed silent.

She eyed the small infinity mark on her that rested on her wrist. It was black and small yet they all knew it meant something more major.

This could possibly change Taeri's life inrrevocably forever.

All the stories she's heard about people meeting their soulmates always had a happy ending.

Despite the reassurance she had, there was this anxiety, this feeling that her life would only become more troubled.

The attempt to look for her soulmate seemed futile enough that it discouraged her to the core.

It tore her apart.

The cold and numb Jeong Taeri wasn't so cold in the inside as a lot of people thought.

In reality, Taeri wanted to be happy. She wanted to live a life with the person she loves and have her own family.

Unfortunately, her past trauma's erased everything that she could ever dream of having.

It wasn't her fault that her feelings were paralyzed...
Despite her wanting a change..
She couldnt
Because she was stuck in a world, she never wanted to be in.
