Noritoshi stopped running and stood his ground.

Noritoshi: here it comes

Nanami threw wood-shaped spears at the boys

Toge: stop.

Noritoshi clapped his hands together and gathered cursed energy

Noritoshi: convergence: piercing blood!

A fast blood projectile shoot out and hit the cursed spirit. It chipped its forehead near the branches coming out where its eyes would be

Megumi: he wounded it? "So he wasn't serious at all when he fought me, then?

Yn: no time keep moving

Noritoshi: he's right come on it's just gonna heal right away

The boys kept running away, their plan reeling on a hit-and-run tactic.

Noritoshi: "Inumaki will stop it, we'll attack and then we'll get away from it, then we repeat that until we get outside the veil."

The boys ran for their life's trying to get distance and safety

Megumi: "This isn't good if I had to guess me and noritoshi are at 60 percent cursed reserves, while Toge is at 40 percent, Yn he's down to 15 I'd say he can summon one more shikigami attack after that he's"-

Reaching an exit the boys quickly went through the door and hopped on the roof.

Megumi: Nue

The younger Fushiguro summoned his winged partner to attack the curse

Toge fell to his knees as blood poured out his mouth.

The curse spirit attacked Nue forcing Megumi to release the Shikigami before it could get destroyed. Noritoshi was distracted and in a brief second the curse was beside him and he was hit with a right hook sending him flying.

Megumi caught Noritoshi before he fell off the roof.

Megumi: are you alive Kamo? "Inumaki was using powerful words but it still destroyed his throat, it's just that much stronger"

Megumi put his hands out, his fist balled, and began to let his cursed energy flow.

Yn's eyes widened as he could even move his legs anymore.
