Dean Winchester opened his eyes as his phone rang. He squinted at the phone. "Sam?!"

"Dean! We're on our way!"

Dean's eyes widened. "Okay! I'll get Bobby!" He jumped out of the bed and pulled on his pants as he hung up the phone. Grabbing his boots and his jacket, he emerged from his room and moved down the hall to pound on Bobby's door. "Bobby! Let's go!"

Dean and Bobby emerged from the Impala to find Sam and Liz walking out of the ER with Mary perched on Sam's arm.

"Uncle Dean!" the toddler squealed, wiggling out of her father's arms. She ran to Dean and grabbed hold of his leg.

"What am I? Chopped liver?" Bobby groused.

Dean reached down and swung the dark-haired, light eyed toddler into his arms.

She kissed Dean's cheek, then looked at Bobby. "Hello, Grandpa!"

Sam and Lizbeth arrived at where they were, then.

Dean frowned. "False alarm?"

"Braxton Hicks," Liz rolled her eyes. "Apparently stubborn runs in the Winchester genetics."

Sam smiled at his very pregnant wife. "He gets it from his uncle. I am not stubborn."

Both Liz and Bobby scoffed in unison, causing Sam to straighten.

Sam looked at Dean. "Ever feel like we're being targeted?"

Dean looked at Liz, then at Sam. "I'm not about to get into an argument with a very PO'ed pregnant woman."

"Wow, Dean," Sam frowned. "Great back up."

"Or," Liz smiled. "He's finally learned. Can we go now?"

Sam nodded and escorted Liz to their car, Liz's '94 Chevy Impala SS.

"Daddy!"

Sam looked at Mary, holding onto Dean's face as if her life depended on it, even as her uncle frown at her.

"May I, please, go with Uncle Dean and Grandpa?"

Liz grinned. "See how she remembers her manners when she wants something? Tell me she's not learning how to manipulate people!"

Sam chuckled. "Yes, Mary. But they're just bringing you to our house."

She squealed and hugged Dean's neck.

In response, Dean pretended to be choking as he walked to his '67 Chevy Impala with the girl of nearly four and his surrogate father.

Bobby chuckled as he watched Lizbeth and Sam get into their car and Dean put Mary into her toddler seat in the back of his. He thought back to the day Lizbeth returned to his life and thought. "Yep. It's on those quiet days when something truly bizarre happens."
