Content Warnings:
Attempted rape, rape (never shown), sexual abuse, child abuse, domestic abuse, verbal abuse, mentions of grooming, self harm, suicide, suicidal ideation, ableism, some brief transphobia, lots of blood and injury. This book is basically how I work through things so there is a lot of heavy content.
But it also has themes of found family, lots of magic, a queerplatonic marriage which I'm pretty sure made me actually like the idea of marriage, and a polyamorous romance which was a lot of fun to write. Despite being polyamorous myself it is the first time I've written a polyamorous romance. It is also my first time not only writing a married couple but a queerplatonic one and I honestly loved every minute of it. I really like hurt/comfort stuff so there's a good amount of that in here. Plus I have a thing for a partner who is also a doctor or in this case healer and looks after the other. I should shut up before I spoil my own story too much.
Also, one of the characters in here uses only ASL to communicate however all sentences will still be constructed the way spoken English is. I don't feel I have the knowledge of ASL and its grammar to construct sentences the way they would be signed. My apologies for that.
Anyway, have fun reading and please pay attention to the trigger warnings. Stay safe <3
