AgentofDreams989's Author's Notes:

Hi, everyone!

Firstly, I want to thank you all for spending any amount of your time reading this story! Your support truly means the world to me and I wish you all the most amazingly happy day (or maybe this story can lighten your mood a little, otherwise :)

Now, I wanna ask you all; What makes a good episode of The Flash?

There's probably like over a hundred different answers we could all give, from specific plot points to guest stars or villains, all of which would be perfectly reasonable and great responses in their own right (I mean, who doesn't want to see more of Zoom?) but honestly, all I ever need is one thing; Barry and Iris West-Allen.

Sure, it's a pretty simple request considering they are the protagonists of the show, after all, but every moment they share together, whether it be as visually stunning as when Iris and Barry shares a heartwarming kiss within the prior's flashtime or simply them just joking about French fries, just reminds me of all the reasons I love, well, love.

Because that's what giving unyielding support to, caring for, and laughing (both with and at, sometimes) means.

And to me, that's always been West-Allen.

Which is why when I watched the sixth episode of the ninth season of the show, I just knew I HAD to write something revolving around the pair's babymoon vacation.

And for those of you who haven't quite been convinced of this story idea, let me just set the mode for you all;

One whole week of Barry and Iris spending time alone with each other, drinking fruity umbrella drinks, painting each other's nails (well, she'll try, anyway), and eating endless amounts of cheesy fries while talking constantly about their little week year-old baby daughter, Nora.

Like I said; Perfect.

But, the only reason I was able to bring any of those moments and so, so many more to life on these pages is thanks to one of the best Flash writers, or really, just writers in general I've seen.

Because you, NoraXSWest-AllenFam are quite literally the nicest, most sincerely funny people I've ever talked to!

And you managed to truly bring every single one of Iris' sections to life throughout this story solely with your incredible talent of mixing sweetness with descriptive detailing.

And I can not thank you enough for writing this with me!

You are truly such a schway writer :)

Anyways, that's probably long enough of an author's ramble for one day. Lol.

Love you all and hope you have as much fun reading this story as I did writing it :)

And always remember,

Nothing Is Impossible as Long as You Believe in it :)

NoraXSWest-AllenFam's Author's Notes:

Hey guys! I wanted to start this out by saying how happy and appreciative I am for anyone who reads our story, especially since you're giving even more love and support to the writer who probably deserves it the most; Dream.

The way they write their stories and characters is with a passion like none other, and you can always truly tell how much work they put into each and every one of their projects.

And I honestly feel so, so lucky to have been a part of writing this with them, especially such a special and heart-meltingly sweet project like this.

And as a bit of a disclaimer as to how we wrote this story as well, I wrote Iris' character, and Dream wrote Barry's. Any comments, loving gestures, Barry mannerisms, or anything that makes him special is all their work, and anything of Iris' is mine (which is such a treat to get to write btw)

Now as to the actual story itself; how do I describe it?

We've been hard at work on it for months now, since all the way back in April for a matter of fact.

Trying to make it the absolute best thing we can.

But that doesn't explain the why.

Well, why do you love The Flash?

Action packed fights? Engrossing story? Awesome, logic defying superpowers? (Yes, yes, and yes, but back onto the point)

It's the heart behind it.

Behind friends.

Behind Family.

Behind Barry and Iris.

And that love between them that they share with their family.

To say that Barry and Iris love each other, I don't know.

Sometimes, it just doesn't seem to do their connection justice.

The way they support, care, joke, laugh, embrace, listen, smile, love one another, it's one of the most beautiful things you can find, and the only word I can sometimes think to use is soulmates.

And to say that they bring every bit of that love they share with each other and more to their kids is without question true.

They've wanted to be parents for so, so, so long, and were ready for it in every sense of the word.

Barry'd gone through the fumble of trying to learn how to be a good father, he'd felt what his daughter's love truly meant to him. He'd had to learn both of them would make mistakes, and sadly go through the rough patches too.

But finally, embrace the fact that that love he felt for his kid, for his daughter, his Nora, was stronger than anything he'd ever felt since the day he met Iris, and that there was nothing on this Earth that he wanted more than to get to call himself her father.

He truly took after Joe, didn't he? :)

And Iris, she learned that even being raised without a mother of her own, even through all the terrible things she'd heard herself do in the future, even after Nora held her at arms length for so long, and she felt like she'd never had what it took in her to be a Mom, to be anything like the mother Barry always talked about, the one her kid deserved.

But with Barry's help, and learning to trust herself and believe she could be a mother, no matter what her life had told her otherwise, she became in my opinion, the Arrowverse's best Mom there is.

But the point is, they both were ready to finally get their turn, to have a family.

And so, when they heard the news they were expecting? That they were starting that family? I imagine they hadn't had a moment happier in their lives since the day they said their vows.

So this story, well it just kind of carries that same energy with it.

That love, that they have for their family, but most importantly, where it all began.

Each other.

And I'd say, it's pretty neat.

So enjoy the next step of Barry and Iris' Babymoon Adventure, because we certainly did writing it.
