I stood infront of the AIIMS maingate with my luggage. Today when I woke up My brother, surprisingly, brought me my morning tea.  I looked at him with a raised brow, but he just shrugged, not knowing what to say.

I sighed and made him sit with me on my bed.

"Rishabh.....are you not happy with me going to AIIMS?"

He looked at me and shook his head.

"Then....what's the matter? why are you looking so upset?"

He opened his mouth to speak something but then, deciding against it, closed it again. I clicked my tongue.

"You know that I'm not getting married. right?"

I tried a joke to lighten up the atmosphere around us. He laughed a little. I bumped his shoulder with mine and said a little softly than before.

"You know, I'm your sister. If you feel like you want to tell me something, you can. After all, you know that your secrets can't remain hidden from me for a long time"

He gave me a weak smile.

"Actually Sis.....I--i don't know but I'm feeling a little, I dunno,....emptiness?"

I frowned. He looked at me and I gave him a sign to continue.

"I think I'm playing a role of very bad little brother, i mean I always had, hadn't I? the thought of you going to AIIMS is making me really happy, I swear, but then when I think about it....You won't be here anymore. I mean, i know you are just going to Delhi and will come back to us soon but...You won't here with me anymore. "

I looked at him softly.

"Oh hello Mister! Listen to me, will you?"

He looked back at me again.

"To tell you, there were times where I seriously thought to add a medicine that can get you bloated," he raised a brow and squinted his eyes. I rolled my eyes with a smile

" but No. You haven't played a role of a very bad little brother. Ok? don't ever say that. And..."

I squeezed his shoulder and gave him a smile.

"I will always be here for you. So what if I'm not going to be right beside you? just remember that your sister, doesn't matter how busy she will be or is going to be, will always take her time out for you. got it? Now don't feel sad about it and be happy a little."

he smiled, though I could see the emotions lying in his eyes. Eyes never lie.

After that, I showered and wore a red marron T-shirt, a black jean and a blue denim jacket draped over my shoulders. I also wore my locket, imprinted with a 'S' on it. Since I'm not very fond of jewelry, I don't have much. I tied my white sneakers and waited for my taxi to arrive. But I also waited for a special person to arrive.

"great...Just Great. she is late. Today. I'm seriously going to kill her for this. Maybe after becoming a good doctor, I should really execute the plan of taking her kidney out."

Just when I was about to think more, a panting Shreya caught my eye.

"Sorry, sorry. I did set an alarm for today, but that little hecking thing didn't ringed."

she mumbled under her breath. before I could have said anything to her, she quickly enveloped me in a hug which was, to tell you, bone crushing. I hugged back with as much force.

We both didn't say anything and continue to hug. These years with her are just.... indescribable. I'm really lucky to have her as my best friend. I got tears in my eyes but I just rubbed them on her shirt. she laughed with tears on her cheeks, still in my arms.
