Exactly after 34 minutes , I reached the place.

I predicted the timing right.

I got off the bus, and quickly googled the place 'Green Residence', and luckily it popped up soon.

Google successfully showed me the right location. That was quite unlikely as per my recent experiences. I wandered if Google too wanted to help me in helping you.

Universe truly helps kind people like you; the thought bought a smile on my face.

Fortunately, the place was just a few houses away from the bus stop.

I quickly walked the distance.

Somehow, I was really excited to see your reaction to me being there, plus I hoped my arrival with your assingnment notebook would turn out to be helpful.

I finally reached the destination.

It was a cream and pastel green coloured building. It was a huge building with a wide veranda.

I first felt a bit awkward to go inside, when the realisation came to me that it's a boy's hostel.

The enthusiasm of helping you simply slipped that fact away from my consideration.

I took a deep breath, "Green Residence, Boys' Hostels", I read the name board again and then stepped in.

There were few boys roaming around, few noticed my presence, others being busy with their own business.

I gathered up some courage to call one of them and asked about you.

The guy politely told me that he's new here. And that it's a huge hostel, so I should ask the head warden directly.

He then willingly guided me to the office of the head warden.

The guy was very helpful and polite.

"Thank you for your help.", I smiled at him.

"My pleasure.", he smiled back.

"The head warden's office is on the ground floor itself.", he added and then went away.

I walked towards the room where it written, 'Administrative block'

I peeped inside from a distance, before getting in.

There was a chubby man maybe in his late 50's or so.

He had a big moustache and a fair complexion.

He didn't seem scary though. So, I allowed myself to relax a little.

"May I come in sir.", I said, grabbing his attention.

"Yes, come in.", he had a deep voice but the voice was a bit broken.

I went inside.

"How may I help you, young lady?", he asked.

"First, please take your seat."

I sat on the chair opposite to his. I took out your assignment notebook and placed it on the table.

"Sir, I actually wanted your help in returning this notebook to one of my friends who lives here. It was urgent so I had to come.", I explained.

"His name is Chandra Bhanu.", I mentioned your full name.

I remember it from the periods campaign, when we were listing the name of the participating volunteers.

"Ohh...let me see. Is that the matter?", he interrogated, and I nodded in assurance.

"Actually, there are a lot of students staying here, I have to search for them in the data-base, please give me a minute," he added.

He then went to the other table where he had the desktop set on.

"What name did you say?", he asked.

"Chandra Bhanu", I repeated.

He typed the letters. I was sitting on the chair itself.

"Is it Chandra Bhanu?", he asked me again.

"Yes..", I replied.

I was sitting there waiting for him to call you soon.

"Sorry girl, there's no one with that name here."

What?!

"Sir, are you sure? 'cause I'm completely sure about the address."

I was unwilling to accept what was just said.

And why would I?
I was sure I heard you saying this address, 'Green Residence, road no. 45'!

It was fresh in my memory. I bet.

"Yes, dear lady. I'm sure there's no one with that name. I even checked the ex-hosteler's list, there's no one with that name." He was stern in his tone.

"Don't mind it, young girl...", he smiled.

"I guess in this prank era. You too became a victim. Take it easy.", he giggled. "Kids these days.."

It's not something to giggle about. Why would you lie about your hostel address?

You're not that kind of a person to pull unnecessary pranks or lie. I know you.

Don't I?....

"Take it easy girl. Forgive your friends or teach them a lesson someday.", saying this he playfully giggled again, trying to calm me down.

But it wasn't helping. I felt betrayed. I felt hopeless.

But what could I do?

I put a polite smile and said, "Thank you, Uncle."
