*Back to the time when they were still inside the kitchen.*

"Lawmsang you look anxious. Are you scared?" Hriata teased Lawmpuia who was cautiously looking around and flinched at every sound or movement.

"Who? Me?" Lawmpuia pointed to himself, looking around.

"Obviously. Are there any other Lawmsanga here?" Hriata said as he walked towards Lawmpuia and placed his arm around his shoulder.

"I'm just being cautious. I don't wanna die out here do you?" Lawmsanga replied to him.

"I'm just saying because you had been acting really paranoid since we have reached this place."
Hriata said to him looking really worried.

"I'm too young to be dying and I want to survive till the end." Lawmsanga shrugged hriata's arm off of his shoulder and walked towards Joel who was busy searching for food.

"If you're that scared of dying then I'll make sure we'll survive until the end. Why even be scared when I am here, a real man like me have nothing to be scared of." Hriata joked half serious as he caught up to him and placed his arm around his shoulder again.

"Sure sure whatever." Lawmpuia turned away from him but Hriata could see that Lawmpuia was trying his best to hide his smile.

When the zombie had fallen from the roof, they fell right in front of Hriata.
When the others had already made a run to escape. Hriata was trapped but still tried to make a run regardless, he could see that Joel and Hma-a had almost reached the stairs and saw that Lawmpuia was in front of him.

If he continued to run towards them then the zombies might catch up to them which means putting the others and Lawmpuia in danger so he decided to throw his bag toward Lawmpuia and stopped to fight off the zombies.

*Back to present.*

The room was quiet no one dared to speak.
They were grieving and were in denial. Three. THREE of their friends.

Lawmpuia was sitting in the corner, his head hanged low. No one dared to talk to him but Awmpuii felt that he might need some comforting so she quietly approached him and sat beside him. She stayed like that for some moment and contemplated on whether she should talk to him or not. She was about to speak but Lawmpuia beat her to it.

"You didn't keep your promise Motherfucker." He quietly whispered as he looked up to the ceiling.
"You said we'll live to the end."
