Chapter 1 ~ end it in style ~

Ian Banks had been fan boying over Phikhuam for years, he was an ardent BL fan and Phikhuam was his bias, he loved everything about him, his looks, physique, acting skills, dramas, and his music.

He couldn't tell anyone because in the small Yorkshire village where he lived not many people knew about BLs in fact you would be lucky to get them to watch anything other than Coronation Street, Eastenders or Emmerdale Farm not that there was anything wrong with those soaps, whatever floats your boat

A couple of years ago he had covered for his mum who was a self employed nurse and imagine his surprise when he discovered that the patient he was caring for was also a BL drama lover. His name was Andrew Boone and he and Andy had become fast friends, if only the same could be said for the guy who had been staying in his house at the time.

Ian had never met anyone as jealous as Lon Ryou and by coincidence he was from Thailand too, what were the odds? Ian had purposely goaded him to get them both to admit their feelings for one another but it had cost him dearly after Lon had punched him in the face.

Several months later when he and Andy had travelled to London to see Phikhuam in a show, Lon had followed Andy and thinking that he was having an affair with Ian, he had punched him again. 

When Lon discovered that they were just there as friends and after he knew their plans he had used his power and influence to surprise them with a private meeting backstage with Phikhuam.

Unfortunately for Ian, when he found himself face to face with his favorite actor he could barely string two words together but Phikhuam who was no doubt used to such reactions carried the meeting effortlessly.

Ian had seen the celebrity again several months later when he and Riz had made a surprise appearance at Andy's friend's wedding in the grounds of their new home a few miles away from his village, he had only seen him from afar and they didn't stay long but still.

Several months later, he had heard Andy's friend Kan was back in the UK and they were having a football match so he had dropped by to watch only to meet the famous supermodel Paitoon Pinamakhorn who also knew Phikhuam, it sure was a small world.

Ian had known he would probably never meet the guy again but it had been exciting at the time so life went on and after he had completed his training and passed all the necessary examinations, he spent his days working as a freelance nurse and carer alongside his mum.

In his spare time he continued to enjoy his BL dramas but it wasn't the same, not since Andy had left to travel with Lon. He had become friendly with Champ and the gang back in Willows Brook but with Kan and Andy gone for a large chunk of the year everything had changed.

He had been getting ready to go and visit a patient who needed assistance bathing when he got a surprise phone call from Andy. He had told him he was on some island off the coast of Thailand and Ian had asked him if he was bragging or complaining.

Andy had laughed then told him the reason for the phone call asking if he could get time off because Phikhuam was coming to the island and was booked in at the resort. Ian had been swept away with the excitement, he'd asked his mother to cover for him and managed to work it so he could get away for a couple of weeks while Andy found a flight for him.

Champ was also going, it was going to be great, he hadn't been away for a long time so he was looking forward to it and to seeing Andy, Kan and Phikhuam of course, not that the guy would remember him.

It was on the flight over when he started to feel a bit foolish, he wondered what the hell he was doing, he was too old to be acting like a groupie, he should be thinking about meeting someone normal and settling down.
