The days were passing quickly now that Phikhuam and Ian had fallen into a comfortable routine, the chaos of the first few days forgotten as for the most part they were left in peace. Every afternoon Ian would walk up to the resort to spend a couple of hours with Andy, Kan and Champ and Phik' gave him the space he needed.
While Ian was gone, Phikhuam would read scripts, talk with his agent or his own small circle of friends or exercise his fingers by playing the card game solitaire which Ian called patience and boy did he need patience with everything that was happening right now.
He was having a hard time keeping his hands to himself especially after experiencing Ian's passionate kisses and the aftermath. He hated knowing that Ian was spending time with Champ every afternoon, he still didn't fully trust him and they had yet to clear the air.
Ian had reduced his pain med's telling him that it wasn't wise to become dependent on them and that it was good to feel a little pain, they could gauge how the healing was proceeding then. He really was a proficient nurse, what more could Phikhuam possibly want in a partner, he was cute, clever and was a good person.
One of Ian's guilty pleasures was watching BL dramas, that's how he had become a fan in the first place and Phikhuam couldn't help but ask him if he liked any other actors? he didn't want him to be hung up on other people and fortunately Ian had answered not really.
Across at the resort, Ian sat at a table in the beach bar with his friends drinking fruit juice, Champ had another week before he had to head back home on the flight which Ian should also have been on before Phikhuam had cancelled it.
He daren't tell the guys that he had cancelled the flight without his consent, Champ was already pissed that he had asked him to stay longer and Ian got the feeling that Champ didn't quite trust him, that he thought he was exploiting him.
Other than Champ's obvious frustrations, they were all having a great time catching up every day and since the football match and karaoke they had become quite popular among the guests and staff.
Ian was going to miss it here when he did eventually go back home to the UK. He knew that Kiri and Kan couldn't stay much longer and Lon and Andy would also have to go back to the mainland soon, that meant he was going to be alone with Phikhuam without back up not that he needed it.
Since they'd had their talk a few days prior, Phik' had been the perfect patient. There had been no flirting and touching had been kept to the minimum and they just talked and got to know each other but even so, Ian couldn't help thinking of the kiss they had shared and what they had done together.
Ian was so confused, he had spent so long liking Phikhuam from afar, it was just a silly crush or so he had thought and yet now he was here in Thailand sharing a cottage with that very person, in the flesh and not only that he had confessed to him and they had kissed among other things.
He didn't know how to feel now, didn't know how to respond, he had been caught up in a whirlwind of emotions and it really was like a dream even thought Phikhuam kept insisting that it was real, that he was real.
Ian had told Phikhuam that they could discuss the possibility of dating later when he didn't need him as a carer anymore, it was the right thing to do but on the other hand he wasn't truly sure that a relationship between them would work, how could it?
They moved in completely different circles, had nothing in common other than mutual attraction. Phikhuam was a famous actor, singer and model and he was ... just a nurse. He spent his days helping sick people to get better then he went home, ate dinner and spent his evening watching dramas in his bedroom looking at pictures of his crush on the wall.
