Lost Time

❀Felix's Pov❀

The ambulance arrived placing him into a neck brace and putting him on the stretcher. "What happened? I'm guessing you are the doctor in training for this team?" The man asks as the other person is taking Hyunjin's vitals.

"Hyunjin was playing football as normal until one of the players from the other team tackled him making hin slam right down sideways on his head."

"Did he move at all?" The guy asks even though I know that he shouldn't have been but stubborn man as always.

"Yes, he rolled over onto his back." I report before the man in the ambulance hollers for him.

The guy sighs "Come with us, it could be experience for you anyways. I normally wouldn't do this but I have to question you but there is no time to wait in case of what?" He asks as he starts walking to the ambulance.

I nudged my head towards the ambulance to Minho as he tell me to go on,I hope he can handle everyone on his own.

"Sign of bleeding in any gland or vessle in the brain, memory loss or sight loss or the severity of the concussion if that is the case. It could also be something rattled his brain which is also dangerous"

"Impressive" We both climb inside the ambulance as I hold Hyunjin's hand to make sure he knows that I am here. "What year are you in because I didn't know that until senior year of college"

"Well I do study a lot and work ahead when I can but I am a junior." I watch his heart beat as it rises up to 120 bpm "He's in pain but his heart rate isn't too bad at this moment."

"What rate should you be worried?" What does he think he is? A teacher? Maybe a mentor? But testing knowledge is good I suppose.

"140 and above, but consistently means that you might have to be on a heart medicine such as a beta blocker"

"Okay who ever has you as a doctor in the future is lucky" He smiles at me before checking Hyunjin's blood pressure again.

He opens his eye lids shining a light into his eyes "Grade 2 concussion I'm guessing." He mumbles before saying to me "Do you know his name and his age?"

"I'm his boyfriend but yes I do. Hwang Hyunjin,23 years old, 5'8." I report to him before he alerts the hospital on what happened and his information as I assume that they will need to rush him for imaging.

"You can just go back with the doctors, count it as a little bit of training. I know there are great students in this college and I do this for the doctors in training so they can get a taste."

I bet this is going to be a mess and stressful but I also know what I signed up for. "Do you have your student ID on you Mr?"

"Yes sir' I take my ID off of my belt showing it to him. "There are two different names but I go by Felix, my English name,so that's why that's there"

I always have to explain that to people not that I really mind but it causes some confusion.

"Ah yes,I'm from Canada so I get that, I go by Eric but Hyunchul is my korean name so I make it easier on people" He laughs a little before the ambulance comes to a stop as I stand up.

"It'll be okay baby, I'm right here" I whisper to him before letting go of his hand as I open the doors quickly jumping down from the ambulance.

"You are one smart and quick kid, I believe in you" He smiles before pushing Hyunjin closer to the edge as a few doctors come around helping us remove the stretcher from the ambulance
