Willow gripped Minnie's hand tightly as the pair walked down the street, passing by various shops and restaurants. They had been dating for a month, and Minnie found the relationship between them comfortable and easy. However, Minnie always felt like something was missing, and she had identified that something as the fact they had not had sex yet. She knew it was commonplace for people to take relationships slow and savor the journey, but Minnie was wired differently- she moved very quickly, a trait that oftentimes ended with her relationships in flames.

"Do you want an iced coffee?" Willow said, her eyes trained on a nearby coffee shop.

"Does that really matter?" Minnie laughed. "I know you want one, so let's go get one."

Willow smiled shyly before dragging Minnie into the coffee shop. Letting go of Minnie's hand, she walked up to the register to place her order.

"I'll have a medium iced coffee with three sugars, please," Willow said, smiling sweetly at the cashier.

"Anything else?" the man asked, obviously tired and bored.

"No-"

"I'll have a large iced coffee with a shot of caramel," Minnie added, stepping up beside Willow. Turning to her date, she batted her eyelashes. "It's kind of rude not to ask your date what she wants," she said, mocking sadness.

Willow flushed. "Based on what you said outside, I assumed you didn't want anything."

"I never said that. I'm always in the mood for an iced coffee," Minnie replied, quickly swiping her card before Willow could swoop in and pay for them.

"Sorry," Willow mumbled, glancing over at Minnie.

Minnie laughed and grabbed the two coffees from the pick-up counter. "I was just teasing. Let's go, I know a good place to walk around."

Minnie held open the door for Willow as they exited, earning her a small nod and a smile. This time, it was Minnie's turn to lead Willow, and she pointed towards the end of the street where a bit of green grass could be made out.

"There's a college campus down there," Minnie said. "It's pretty, and there's a lot of trees and shady paths."

Willow nodded, and the two walked towards the campus. For the remainder of their date, they strolled through shaded pathways and lay on warm grass, holding hands and giggling.

It was getting dark, and Minnie stretched, sitting up from where she had been laying next to Willow.

"Well, I think it's time to call it a day," she said, turning to shoot her girlfriend a smile.

"Aww, but I don't want you to go yet," Willow pouted. "Stay the night? Tomorrow's Saturday anyways."

Staying over at each other's places was a common occurrence, but the words still instilled a sense of excitement in Minnie. She quickly waved away her intrusive thoughts, extending a hand to help Willow up.

"I accept your offer," she said. "Now, where did we park again?"
