Iced coffee in hand, Minnie stumbled to her desk, blinking in an attempt to dispel the blurry sleepiness. She settled down into her seat and logged in to her laptop, startling when a hand clasped down on her shoulder. It was her coworker, Rain.

"So, how was your weekend? Date go well?"

"Two dates, actually," Minnie replied with a smirk. "One on Saturday and the other on Sunday."

Rain twirled a strand of her short, bright blue hair between her fingers. "So it went well, I'm assuming. Sex so good she came back for seconds?"

Minnie flushed. "We uh, didn't actually have sex. The most we did was make out for a minute."

"Huh," Rain said, tilting her head. "That's new for you."

Minnie rolled her eyes. "You say that so condescendingly."

Rain patted Minnie's shoulder before sitting down at the desk across from her. "No, I'm just saying you have a certain way of doing things. There's nothing wrong with it."

Minnie chose not to unpack Rain's words and instead focused on her work. She navigated to the file that held her design ideas and picked one out to draw in depth. Minnie's work wasn't exactly lucrative, but it paid the bills and allowed her to live comfortably in her apartment. She was satisfied with where she was in her career, and did not feel the need to become rich or acquire a high class job.

While satisfied with her career, Minnie was definitely not satisfied overall. She hoped Willow could provide her with some clarity into the murky waters that was her love life.
