Chapter Twenty Eight: Legendary part 1

Empty parking space
"What are we doing back here?" Phoenix asks looking around noticing the abandoned buildings around them.

"Savage has a timeship, courtesy of the Time Masters.
The timeline is unclear, due to our destruction of the Oculus, meaning
Savage is lost to history.
Which is why I brought you all home." Rip says solemnly

"Mission's not over, man."
" Jax is right.  Ray says We've lost Savage before. We'll find him again.

"And then what?
We have no way of killing Savage, particularly now that Kendra and Carter are in his possession, assuming that they're still alive, which is highly unlikely." Rip points out.

"So that's it? We're... we're just giving up?"

"I'm on my way to the refuge to retrieve our younger selves and return them
to the timeline. It will be as if
you never left." Rip tells us.

"What, you think that we can just return to our old lives, and then pretend like none of this ever happened?" Phoenix asks

"Mm, that might be a tad difficult. So I had to bring you back to May 2016, not January 2016."

"Great, so what you're saying is for the last five months, my mom probably thinks that I'm dead. Thanks a lot, man." Jax adds sarcastically

"Okay, why, Why the change of plans, Rip?" Phoenix asks slightly confused.

"If you're getting back
on that ship, we get back on that ship." Mick says growling then goes to prod Rip but his finger went through revealing that he was a hologram.

"In truth, I never left it. I'm sorry for all
that I've asked of you, and that it all
came to nothing. I wish you all well." He says before disappears

"I never liked that guy!" mick grunts
"I should've said something about me being back in England. Phoenix adds in a facepalming way then goes oh well" as the legends disperse going their own ways.

Sara finds out that laurel her sister is dead and Damian dhark killed her.

"You idiot." Mick shouts as the tween shot a cop so mick gets fed up with him and uses the heat gun on him then takes the cold gun. He then gets into a random car and finds ray in the drivers seat.

"Hey, Mick. Oh, it... it's me. It's Ray." Ray cheerfully says whilst taking his mask off then noticed that the police were nearby so he drives away.

"Well you didn't waste any time getting back to your old habits." Ray Points out as he noticed the money in the back.
"I like stealing stuff. It makes me feel good."

"Did you ever think that maybe you weren't meant to do this anymore?" He says slightly thoughtfully
"What do you want, haircut?" mick replies slightly annoyed

"To apologize, sort of. For Snart.
I was the one who was supposed to die, and I can't help feeling that..." Ray tries to say but is cut off by mick.
"It wasn't your fault. It was his. Son of a bitch never did anything without a plan."
"Maybe you're right. Maybe he wanted this." Ray adds cheerfully then uses a hand gesture which confuses Mick.
"What are you doing with your hand?"

"Maybe he wanted us to, you know,
be partners. Ray suggested making Mick say that he's gonna be sick. So Ray adds.
I think Snart knew. He knew that
I'd keep an eye out for you, and you'd keep an eye out for me."

"While doing what?" "What we haven't
finished doing." Ray replies almost smirking at Micks question then his own idea.

The motel
Phoenix was laying down on the bed watching tv so she knows what's she missed the past few months as the candles flickered on the wall
She was missing the teamates as well as Snart whom she poured her heart into.
Feeling rather frustrated oh who care she thought turning the tv off, she summed wind that blew out the candles, she gathered what she had on her when she arrived and left the motel then made her way towards the abandoned buildings which was the last time she saw the waverider.
