A seven bedroom house which comes fully furnished with two studios, one of which we will turn into an art studio for Nandi, a four-car garage, a sitting room, a kitchen, dining room.

When you step outside there is a huge yard big enough to add a basketball hoop and a stopping box for hockey and soccer. There is also a pool.

There are servant's quarters if we need more help.

Today is the night before the first day of school. Their uniforms are hanging on their wardrobes, shoes are polished, bags are packed.

Nandi said that she would make their lunchbox in the morning. After making sure that they are all tucked in and the lights are off, I head into our bedroom to find my girlfriend already fast asleep.

A kiss on her forehead and I get under the covers and daydream about getting married to lull me to sleep.

The alarm blaring wakes us both up. She is going to wake Kat up while I wake the twins up. When everyone is in the shower, we head downstairs to make breakfast and lunch boxes.

"I'll get breakfast ready." she nods getting the bread. This kitchen is bigger than our last one, and it makes me thankful we moved because it would have been a nightmare getting everything ready in my old house. As they are eating breakfast, I head upstairs for a quick shower.

After making sure that they all look proper, Nandi brings out the camera and we all take a picture before getting into the car. I had to buy a new car given that I am now a sport guardian. The bike and Audi are still here but I do not use them as much. Nandi drives the Audi more than I do.

I have been planning on buying her a car, I am yet to hear her mention anything that she likes recently.

First drop off is the twins given that they are older.

"I love you. Nandi will pick you up after school, okay?" they nod before following the prefects to where they are supposed to go.

With Kat, we had to talk to the principal and get his class assigned and then he could be taken to his class.

We drive home so I can get ready for work. We are only driving them to school these first two weeks. After that, I have hired a driver who will take them to school and bring them back. This is also why I need to buy Nandi a car because the driver will be driving my car.

"I am going to lunch with Brandi today." I nod as she sits at her vanity.

"Okay, you have my card."

"It's not that,"

"Well, what is it?"

"My mother is in the hospital and I want to go home and make sure that she is okay."

"Oh, then go, did you want me to come with?"

"No, no, the kids need you, I will go alone. Will you be okay without me?" a nod, while I am unsure whether I can handle three kids without her, I knew she needed to be with her mother. "Are you sure, baby?"

"Absolutely. Go home."

"I will leave tomorrow morning." a kiss on her cheek as I put my shoes on.

When I am in the car, I call Eric "Yes, Ms Lenka?"

"I need to rework my schedule."

"What parts?"

"I need my lunch to move to half-past one."

"For this week?"

"For two weeks."

"Yes, Ma'am."

"Before lunch, please remind me to pick up the kids."

"I will do that, Ma'am, anything else?" this is going to be one hell of a time.

"That is all, Eric, thank you."

I pick Kat up before picking up the twins.
"How was school?"

"It was okay."

"Sounds like something happened."

"I don't like being the new kid."

"You won't be the new kid for long, okay?" he nods before pulling his phone out of his pocket.

We pick up the twins next.

"Where is Ms Nandi?" Dintle asks

"Having lunch with a friend."

"Okay." I drive them home and Nandi gets back before I leave.

Why did I think raising three children would be easy? We had dinner together before Nandi began packing. She left early in the morning so that she could be there before the surgery.

Giving her space in this time is important but I want to call her every second, instead, I call Lindi.

"Her Royal Highness, how are you?"

"I will never get used to that, I am good, how are you?"

"Great, Nandi went home to support her mom as she gets surgery and the kids seem to be settling well."

"That is such great news, I just keep getting depressing news."

"About?"

"Everything, it feels like there is nothing I can do right."

"Oh, baby, I wish I could hold you right now."

"It's okay, I get held enough," we chuckle "I just wish I did not have an entire country, watching my every decision. I can not wear jeans without it being in a newspaper!"

"I'm sorry baby, just keep being you and doing what makes you happy."

"I can't even spend my money in peace without being called a Golddigger!"

"I am sorry, baby."

"Fuck these people, I wish Harald was a normal man, don't get me wrong, extremely grateful..."

"I understand what you meant." she lets out a sigh

"I would marry him in a thousand lifetimes and I get to hold on to the hope that in another life, we are parents living on a farm with our two kids and a dog."

"The dream,"

"That I need to let go because we are not those people and that is never happening."

"Things will get better, let's focus on the good."

"My husband is fine, I think he is here actually, hold on." she goes quiet "Baby?"

"Love?" he answers

"I knew you were here!" excited she rejoices, "I am on a call with Nkoe."

"Oh, hi Nkoe."

"Hi Harald, you still treating my sister well?"

"Trying to be great every day." the call goes on, and Lindi seems to forget the problems when he is around.

Sorry guys, it has been a week and a half.
On of my stories hit 100K reads and I might go out tonight to celebrate that but I do not know yet.

Until next time.
