"So you like him? Like for real?" I asked mymy as she layed across Kell's couch while I sat on his lap
"Yes, your brother is...aggy but he so caring and funny and he got bomb head" she smiled and I mugged her
"Bitch when that happen? Why Ian kno" I asked and she laughed
"Bitch it was lastnight" she said and I nodded, honestly Ian want details
"Enough about me, how you feel bout ya daddy coming home soon?" She asked and I shrugged
I missed my dad of course but if he seen how close me and Kell were, I don't want there to be any conflict because I'm not gonna stop talking to my best friend
" I miss him. I just hope nothing starts when he come home" I said and she nodded in agreement
"Him and O will bump heads eventually" she sighed
"I just hope it's no time after he comes home, I hate getting in the middle of them two" I rolled my eyes
They always had the worst arguments but would always apologize for it a couple days later

My lips departed as my eyes shot open

"Imma get that hoe" he shook his head pushing me off him just for him to lay on top of me

He been sick for a week and he's been so attached to me I'm not complaining tho, I love his company
"We gon see amber too so wear sum decent" I told him and he shook his head

"No Kell, we haven't seen her all week we're going to see her today!" I said sternly and he nodded
I made my way out to the car and Kell soon followed about 5 minutes later, I got him some food and headed straight to the hospital

"You have any updates on her condition?" I asked "honestly she's not getting better, we were gonna ask to pull the plug but her son always say no" she sighed
"Yea it's definitely a no, and I feel as if she would be doing better if her fucking doctor was here trying to help her" I spat before walking away
I was using the bathroom and just so happen to see her but her ass blew me like...pull the plug? You wouldn't behave to if her fucking "Doctor" is Doctoring
"Baby.." I called out to Kell as he sat by her bed crying
"I heard you, thank you...maybe I should pull the plug. She not getting better" he cried "no, we will get in another hospital a better one. I won't let you give up on her Kell she's like your only family" I said
He shook his head and put his AirPods in, immediately got on my phone looking for private hospitals
I found 3 and the first 2 didn't answer but the third one did
"Yes, we have very little people in the hospital because our head doctor is young but I promise she's very committed to her job" the nurse told me
"Okay well can I come in for a tour tomorrow? I just wanna make sure she would be in good hands" I said looking down at Kell sleeping on my chest
"Of course, you will have to use a bar code which we will send via phone to you for you to get past security" she said and I nodded "okay thank you my phone number is 773-364-7363" I said
"Alright you can come in at anytime tomorrow after that the code will expire" she said "okay, thank you have a nice day" I said before hanging up
I wasn't gonna let him give up, amber will wake up. I know it
