she woke up with a sharp pain throughout her body. the injuries from the fight had caught up to her as the adrenaline had wore off, she sat up slowly and took in the surroundings - she was on a floating platform with multiple computer screens on one side. the female scoffed, how futuristic.
"You're awake."
Sitting up, she looked to where the voice came from; flinching when the cuts started to reopen again.
"Yeah, hi." the BROWN haired girl mumbled. "fuck." "i can patch up your injuries for you, is that okay?" he asked, kneeling down infront of her.
"okay, just don't scratch me with your furry claws." chuckling, she flinched from the pain and stopped. "i don't want to help you anymore." Miguel deadpanned, looking away, pretending that she wasn't there.
"I'm going to bleed out on your floors." she threatened him, hearing his deep sigh, he used his webs to grab a first aid box and opening it up, grabbing out the needed supplies. "where are you hurt?" "my back.. for starters. my legs, my arms and my neck, my stomach also." she let out a loud groan, knowing it will hurt.
"okay, so everywhere." he went behind her and slowly unzipped her suit, the cold breeze flowing on her injured back, she could feel her face getting warmer when she felt Miguel's warm breath against her back.
Miguel placed his large hand on her back, softly tracing the large cut, gasping from the sudden shock and pain combined. he cleaned the wound and wrapped gauze around it, her breath hitching when he pulled it tighter around her chest. "Mierda, eso duele.." she stiffled, knowing this was only the first wound.
"Sorry." he proceeded to clip the gauze with a safety pin softer than what he was doing before. "it's okay." she sighed, knowing he couldn't help it. zoning out and taking in all what happened to her in the span of 15 hours while he continued to clean her wounded arms.
After he finished patching everything up, he called her name to which she was unresponsive to. He then squeezed her arm softly. "Huh?" she blinked confusingly. "I'm done." "Oh, thank you.." her stomach grumbled, covering her face in embarrassment.
Miguel grabbed her hand and pulled her up out of nowhere, causing her to loose balance and tumble forward, him catching her just in time. "Dios mío." he mumbled, she jumped away from him and apologised.
He grabbed her waist and swung down to the ground, letting go and walking. "keep up." she followed after him confusingly- "where are we going anyways??" catching up to him and looking up to make eye contact with him. she quickly looked away.
"food."
how direct.
she looked at his arms and his defined muscles, admiring him and his hard work. her mouth was gaped open slightly in amazement, she adverted her gaze somewhere else before he caught her staring.
what she didn't know was that as soon as she looked away, he admired her.

after Miguel had caught her up with the spider society over food, he took her back to Gwen.
"Is that the girl that helped me?" she questioned, walking faster to keep up with his steady walk. he huffed as a way to say yes, she rolled her eyes at the silent treatment.
reaching a door, she walked in behind him to be met with a girl with blonde hair, shaved half on the side and dyed pink at the ends. her blue eyes met her BROWN ones, quickly looking away to avoid eye contact.
"hey. I'm Gwen, remember me?" the blonde girl walked over, putting a hand on her shoulder.
"Yeah, i remember you." She muttered, feeling slightly embarrassed of what Gwen had saw of her a couple hours ago.
Miguel cleared his throat to announce that he was leaving, before turning swiftly and walking out the door.
"what a freak." Gwen whispered.
"he's kinda.."
"no."
Gwen pointed a finger in her face, waving it side to side as CHARLI frowned at the displeasure. "whatever, you don't see the vision." she crossed her arms.
Gwen chuckled softly. "can i have your number?"
