The lost ones

Chapter 9

Savannah and the others set out for the grounders village where Savannah wants to recruit some people to help her take down the enemy inside the walls of camp Jaha.

Along the group's journey they are faced with a new enemy, men in hazmat suits.
They attack the group and Murphy begs to be released so he can protect himself at least.
Savannah reluctantly gives Bellamy the go ahead to free Murphy from his restraints.
The small group fight off their assailants and Savannah cuts a piece of one of the men's hazmat suits, his skin burns instantly and is covered in blisters.
Savannah realises that these people could not survive on the ground without the suits and masks.
"Bellamy tie my jacket around his leg and cover up the rip on his suit." Savannah instructs.
Bellamy gives Savannah a confused look before tying her jacket around the man's leg sealing the rip and stopping him from being exposed to the air that seems to be burning him.

"Why should we help him? He and his men just tried to kill us." Murphy questions Savannah's motives to save the man.
Savannah looks at him and has a serious look on his face.
"Because if we want any chance to find our friends he might have the answers we need.
Murphy, Octavia can you two take him back to camp Jaha? Put him in lock up until we get back." Savannah explains.

Before anyone else can say anything Finn approches the group.
"Who's the guy?" He questions.
Savannah looks at Finn.
"A prisoner. Where have you been?" She questions him noticing all the blood on his hands and clothes.
Finn says nothing he just has a look on his face that Savannah knows whatever he has been up to was no good.
"Ok let's get a move on people, new plan. Murphy you and Finn take the prisoner back to the camp, Bellamy you and Octavia go to the nearest grounder camp you can find, let them know I've sent you.
Lincoln you and I are going to go to Ilians camp, he still owes me a favour." Savannah instructs but she gets a few strange looks, mainly from the two Blake's.

"Ahh I don't know my way around, you and Lincoln are the only ones here who know where all the camps are." Octavia states.
"Fine Bellamy you come with me and Octavia you go with Lincoln.
Lincoln go see Indra she will be able to help us."

The group splits up and goes their separate ways.
When Savannah and Bellamy reach the camp where Ilian lives Savannah instructs Bellamy that weapons are to be left in a barrel by the gate before they will be allowed into the camp itself.
Bellamy complus and places his weapons into the barrel.
Savannah walks around the camp trying to find one person and one person only, Ilian.

"Sky girl? I thought I told you last time not to come back here if you wanted to live." A man's voice can be heard from behind Savannah.
Bellamy grabs her hand.
"Let's get out of here, we clearly aren't welcome here." He says with a hint of panic in his voice.
Savannah spots the man who called out to her.
"Yeah we'll come and try to kill me then!" She challenged the man.
The man comes lunging at her in full force, his strides getting bigger and bigger as he gains more ground.
When the man is close enough Savannah sweeps her leg in-front of him causing him to trop over, she then grabs his arm and puts it behind his back as he lays flat on his stomach.
"Biyo em! (say it!)" Savannah instructs as she pins the man down.
The man wriggles a bit trying to get free from her grip but he knows he is no match for her.
She pulls his arm a bit more nearly dislocating his shoulder.
"Biyo em!" She repeats with a snarl.
"Yu win (you win)." The man says through gritted teeth not wanting to admit his defeat.
"I didn't hear you?" Savannah informs wanting to hear him say it again.
"You win!" The man now says clearly in plain English.

Savannah releases his arm and helps him to his feet.
The pair grip each other's forearm and the man places his forehead to Savannah's forehead.
"You fought well for a sky girl." The man states before giving her a hug.
Savannah pulls back a bit releasing her grip from the man's arm.
"I've been training, and how many times do I have to tell you Ilian? I might have been born and raised in the sky but I am not a sky person I am a grounder." Savannah expresses.
The man steps aside from Savannah now noticing Bellamy more.
