Yuvaan felt his body ache for Meera. He had been so busy with work that he hardly had any time for her. Whenever he thought of her, his mind filled with lusty thoughts he had suppressed for far too long.

It was 6 in the morning that morning, and as his eyes slowly opened, he was aware of a faint rumbling in his mind.

He was filled with an inexplicable sense of joy. He felt a warmth touching his tingling cheeks, arousing some strange feelings within him.

He looked down and realized Meera was lying beside him, her face delicately illuminated by the faint moonlight peeking through the window.

He slowly leaned over her, touching her softly with his lips and caressing her body with his fingertips. She moaned softly in response, her body responding to his touches like an obedient disciple.

He smiled as he felt her heat warming his body. His mouth engulfed hers in passionate kisses, as he moved up and down her body. Time ceased to exist, and the whole room was filled with unending sensations of love and pleasure.

But then, Yuvaan woke up with a start and threw the blankets aside. He glanced at the time on the clock - it had barely crossed 4 in the morning. He looked towards Meera who was in a deep slumber beside him. His mind recalled the dream he had just been having; it had been so vivid and it felt as if he was experiencing it in real life. He remembered Meera's silky skin against his fingertips, the gentle smell of something sweet, and the warmth of her breath on his lips. He felt his body tingle as a wave of desire swept through him.

He shook his head, chastising himself for even daring to think such thoughts. He had married Meera reluctantly for a business merger and had so far kept up his distance.Sighing, he got out of bed and made his way into the home gym. He craved for some exertion to clear his mind off such futile thoughts. As he started his workout, he could feel the tension leaving his body as the sweat poured out of him. He found his usual solace in exercise and was soon completely engrossed in it, letting out all his frustrations and negative emotions in each repetition, each push, and pull.

When done, he took a few moments to catch his breath while his mind began to drift back to Meera. He brushed away the thought and got ready for work, determined to keep his distance and not give in to his unwanted feelings for her.

Yuvaan entered the room where Meera, was waiting for him. He had been in the home gym for the past few hours, and now seeing her, he mockingly said, 'So, have you been busy with the household chores all day?'

Meera scowled at him. 'I see you found the time to work out, considering you seem to never have time for anything else,' she said.

Yuvaan rolled his eyes. 'We both know why we got married. It was practically arranged by our families!' he said.

Meera sighed. 'Yes, I'm all too aware. But, that doesn't mean I can't give you a few well-deserved jibes now and then,' she said, raising an eyebrow.

Yuvaan stepped forward. 'Oh, so it's like that?' he said. 'Well, don't think I'm not capable of giving it right back.'

Meera smiled faintly in challenge. 'Go ahead, try me,' she said.

Angered, but unable to form a proper retort, Yuvaan turned away, and marched to the bathroom. As the door closed over him, Meera stood watching it for a long while. No matter how much they bickered, they would never be rid of the fact that their marriage was a mere arrangement.
