My hands trembled as I approached the grand entrance of the Singhania Corporation building. Maa had asked me to bring Yuvaan's lunch to him at his office, but I had no idea which floor his office was on. Taking a steadying breath, I approached the receptionist and asked if I could speak to him.
The receptionist looked me up and down with disdain, her gaze settling on my plain clothes. "Do you have an appointment?" she asked curtly.
I schooled my expression and shook my head. "No, ma'am. I am just here to bring something for my, er, friend, Yuvaan Singhania." I couldn't bring myself to admit to her that I was Yuvaan's wife. He had made it clear to me that our marriage was merely an arrangement, nothing more. and when I told the receptionist I was here to meet Yuvaan, she rolled hereyes and refused to pick up the phone.
I was so scared I could hardly catch my breath. There were so many people here all of them were staring at me. Suddenly there were footsteps behind me and his voice was heard 'What is going on here?'
I turned around to see Yuvaan standing there, looking at me with a piercing gaze. I was so taken aback by his presence that I couldn't even speak. receptionist told him about everything while he was staring at me.
Yuvaan then turned to me and asked, 'What is your relationship with me?'
I was so scared that all I could do was stammer out, 'I-I'm a family friend.'
He stared at me for a few moments before he suddenly grabbed my chin and asked me again, 'What is your relationship with me?'
I was so scared that I blurted out the truth, 'I'm your wife.'
Yuvaan let go of my chin and turned to the receptionist. 'You are fired,' he said coldly.
The receptionist quickly left, leaving me and Yuvaan alone. He then looked at me and said, 'Let's go to my office."

I had heard rumors of my receptionist being rude to guests, and as I approached the desk the rumors were confirmed. She had my Meera in her clutches, and as I approached she shrank back in fear. I demanded to know what was going on, but before she could answer I could see the fear in her eyes.
I knew something was up, so I moved closer and asked her, about our relationship she firstly denied but when I held her chin she blurted the truth.
