The tension was thick. Insanely thick. Awkward silence laced the room.
"How did you uh how did this happen" lips pressed into a tight line cheeks puffed.
"So I was using my curling iron and I kinda you know hiss and boom I was burnt" Collette chuckled awkwardly looking away from her makeup artists face.
"Collette"
"Hm"
"Do you think I'm some kind of fool, Hm do you think I am dumb. This is fucking HICKEY so purple it made grimance shit his fucking pants!" Lindsey, her makeup artist picked it with the end of the brush.
"Full coverage concealer" Collette muttered making Lindsey poke her again
"You are about to present the summer fashion show literally in 3 hours and we now have to deal with this crater of a hickey that funny enough had to sit somewhere so prominent, did your boyfriend think it would be a cute accessory?!" she threw the brush at Antonio who sat on the couch playing some car game but they didn't know that.
"Ow! The fuck, you could've poked my fucking eye out, chihuahua ass" he muttered the last part before feeling a beauty blender land on his forehead
"Next time you and your barbaric ass should leave your death bites in places that WONT be visible and don't even think to say shit like 'she's mine, the people need to know' cause please" Collette snorted going back to watching videos on her phone
"Wonder who stuck a steel bar up your ass" he muttered before kissing Collette's cheek "I'll see you at the venue pretty girl" he kissed her again walking out seeing Lindsey flip him off and he returned the favor.

"They put make on you or something" Sanco raffled his nephews hair
"You messed up my hair!" Antonio ran his fingers through his hair trying to get it to go in one direction to which he didn't achieve his original look but it still worked out.
(It looks like Austin butler's hair if you want an idea)
"Oh no your poor hair, you want a perfume touch up too?" Sanco laughed watching Antonio whip his head back
"Why do I stink?" He smelt himself quickly, eyes snapping back to Sanco.
"Why're you so nervous it's not even your show, you're just the boyfriend"
"I know I just haven't seen her in hours and I miss her-and I know she was nervous and we went through her opening the whole of last night even at 4 this morning- so I just hope she's ok-but I know she'll do okay-but does she know she'll do okay-because Collette is so talented and charismatic-"
"Sobrino (nephew) calm down, she'll do great alright just relax and take deep breathes" Sanco placed his hand on his shoulders
"You're right, let's go sit then"

Everyone's chatter and laughter simmered down as the MC walked in to introduce Collette. When she walked out it's like all air left Antonio and everybody to be honest, the white king dress she wore that was flowy and hugged her waist, she looked like an open lily, her skin was radiant under the artificial lights that hung above the outside garden area. She looked at Antonio quickly giving him a wink and walking to the Centre of the runway she saw her whole family in the crowd of course skipping her parents she finally spoke.
"Good afternoon everyone, thank you so much for attending the annual summer show, I cannot tell you how honored I am to be hosting this event that I've watched since being 12, my team and I have worked hard to bring you a great event and a great collection so please enjoy and feel free to have a drink and snack and enjoy the show" she smiled as the audience errupted in claps and cheers.
