We got into the bunker and my father glared at me, "What on earth were you thinking, young lady!?" I grinned sheepishly, "I wanted to find Alan, Tim, and Lex." My father hugged me, "Foolish you are, but I'm glad you're alive." Ian didn't look at me, "I am mad at you." I sat beside him, "Would it make you feel better if I stayed here while Alan and Ellie went back to get them?" Ian still didn't look at me, "Yes. It would."
Alan grabbed a gun, "It's just the two raptors? You sure the third one's contained?" Ellie nodded, "Yes unless they figured out how to open doors." As they left, Ian finally looked at me, "I can't stay mad at you." He kissed me softly, "But if you ever do that again. I'll kill you myself." I nodded and smiled, "Sorry for the scare. I just need to do that." Ian shoved his face into my hair and smiled. My father smiled at the both of us, "I give you both my blessing. You are right. You are old enough to make your own decisions." I smiled, "Thank you, father."
The phone rang and all of us looked at it in joy. My father picked up the phone, "Grant." I smiled as Ian hugged me, "We're going home." My father teared up, "Children alright?" I looked up in a panic as I heard gunshots over the phone and my father yelled, "Grant!" My father called someone else, "Hello. Yes. I need helicopters. Now. We have injured people."
I stood up and helped Ian stand as my father grabbed his other side, "We're heading to the landing pad. Go get the jeep started." I helped Ian into the back of the jeep and my father drove to the visitors center, meeting Alan, Ellie, Tim, and Lex at the base of the stairs. Everyone got into the jeep and Alan looked at my father, "Mr. Hammond. After careful consideration. I've decided not to endorse your park." My father drove off and nodded, "So have I."
We made it to the landing pad just in time for the helicopters to land. Tim, Ian, and I were carefully placed in the helicopter as my father looked out into the distance of what he created, but in the end, failed.
I leaned against Ian as he shoved his face into my hair and I smiled at Alan as Lex and Tim fell asleep at his sides. Ian tilted my head up and kissed me softly, "So let's talk about that wedding." I smiled, "Slow down, Romeo. Let's give it a few months." Ian smiled, "We almost died and you want to wait longer? I don't know about that." I smiled, "I say in six months." Ian smiled and nodded, "I love you, Clary. My future Mrs. Ex-Malcolm." I chuckled, "I love you too, Ian. This will be a nice joke for the grandkids."
Ian kissed my temple and the pilot started talking, "Man! Hurricane Clarissa did a number on this island!" Ellie and Alan looked at me as my father started to smile, "Dearest? Did you summon this natural disaster?"
I snorted and snuggled into Ian, "Not my fault scientists find me attractive." Alan laughed as Ellie giggled into her hand and Ian smiled, "Ah. Chaotic as usual, but not wrong." I smiled and held my father's hand, "I'm sorry, father. I know how much you wanted this to work."
Father smiled, "Don't worry, Dearest Clarissa. You will be the heiress one day." I shook my head and Ian snorted, whispering to me, "He'll get the reality check one day. Till then. I'm worried about what the wedding theme will be."
I thought about it and then grinned at Alan, "What about dinosaurs?" Alan snorted and Ellie glared at me, "I'm not coming if you do that." Ian shook his head, "Absolutely not."
