The guilt of your previous actions disappeared into thin air, and you began conversing with the fine man in front of you, telling him about your origins.

"You're not the first outlander I've met, but the circumstance of your arrival certainly are strange..."

You hummed in response, and an awkward silence ensued. Would meeting characters always be this awkward? I mean here you were in a video game world, meeting fictional characters!

"Do you know any places where I could get room and board? I need a place to stay in, and mora's no issue,"

He though for a moment, his hand moving to his chin.
"You can stay at my mansion for the night, free of charge,"

"Really? That'd be amazing! Could Venti come too?"

He glared at the passed out bard for a moment, then back to your happy expression. He sighed.

"He can come, but you'll need to supervise him,"

You smiled,
"Will do!"

The bard slept peacefully on your back as you carried him into the room you'd be sharing. There was only one bed, but he was small enough that you'd have enough room to be comfortable.

"Thanks again for letting us stay, Diluc,"

"It's no problem. If you'd like, you could join me for dinner once you put the bard to bed,"

Softly smiling, you nodded,
"I'd like that,"

He hummed in response and left you and Venti alone in the room. You put the anemo archon on the bed before realizing that you may have to strip him.
