Thank you for 700+ reads! Also this chapter is slightly suggestive and when I say slightly I mean VERY slightly

Light poured in through the windows, and your eyes gently fluttered open as you awoke. You moved to stretch, but quickly found that you were prevented from doing so by the arms that wrapped around you.

Venti had snuggled up with you in his sleep, and now had a death grip on you as he softly snored.

Through pure determination, you were able to wiggle your way out of his grasp, gaining your freedom and stretching your arms and legs.

You sat on the edge of the bed, using your phone to help you fix your hair.

Arms wrapped over your shoulders and a head rested on your shoulders.

"You didn't unbraid my hair, it's all messy now..."
He whined with a tired pout.

"I'm sorry Venti, it must've slipped my mind,"

"You could've taken more off me, y'know. I wouldn't mind,"

You felt heat rise up to your cheeks and somewhere else, and debated whether or not you would shove him off of you. But instead of backing off, you doubled down.

"Why don't I just undress you now then?"

DAMN IM SMOOTH

You thought to yourself as you watched the flustered expression on the anemo archon'a face.

You got off the bed and went to the door,
"I'm gonna go downstairs, if we're lucky, we might get breakfast,"

A speechless god was left on the bed as you went to procure your meal.

~•~

A maid stood by the table setting up plates and platters, and she greeted you as you walked down.

"You must be (y/n). I'm Adelinde,"

"You're the one who made dinner last night, right? It was amazing!"

She smiled with gratitude,
"Thank you. I'd like to ask a favor of you,"

"Sure, what is it?"

"Master Diluc seems to have slept in this morning. I would wake him up, but I'm a bit preoccupied at the moment,"

You pieces together what she was asking you to do, and you agreed. She gave you the directions to his room and sent you off with a slightly mischievous smile.

She was happy to see that Diluc was sleeping in, normally he'd be up at the crack of dawn, but your presence seems to have made him more relaxed.

~•~

You knocked on the door three times before entering, hopefully providing enough time for Diluc to prepare himself for you arrival if he was awake.

He slept soundly in his large bed, his bright red hair outlining him.

A gentle shake was all it took to wake him from his slumber, and his eyes slowly opened to see you smiling down at him.

"Morning, Diluc. Sleep well?"

He hummed in confirmation, sitting up and rubbing his eyes. He couldn't remember the last time he'd slept this long, and it showed in how groggy he was.

"Let's get you out of bed and to your chair,"

Helping him out of bed, you led him to a chair which faced a mirror. In front of the mirror was a table, and a brush sat on top.

While the sleepy red head sat still, you brushed through his hair, which was a harder task than you'd imagined. There was just so much of it!

It was sort of relaxing though, and it was nice to see how pretty his hair was when it was all brushed out. Not to mention, Diluc was actually quite cute when he was tired! Something you hadn't really expected from someone like him.

A few moments after you'd finished though, it seems like he'd fully awoken and realized what had just happened. His face turned a slight pink, how could he let you see him like this!

"You've got very beautiful hair, Diluc,"
Grabbing an elastic, you tied up his hair, somehow doing it just the way he liked.

"Thank you,"
Hopefully you wouldn't hear the uncertainty in his voice.

Putting your hands on his shoulders, you smiled at the mirror, admiring both you and Diluc. The sight of this made his heart skip a beat, and he hesitantly brought one of his hands up to meet yours on his shoulder.

Thankfully you didn't snatch your hand away.

"I'll wait for you downstairs, Diluc. Unless you'd like me to help you out of your sleepwear?"
A playful smirk plastered your face, and seeing the man's face match the color of his hair was a delight.

"T-that won't be necessary, thank you,"

"If you say so~"

~•~

Damn, did I really just say that to him?!
These thoughts filled your mind as you walked downstairs. To be honest, the only reason you said something suggestive like that was because of your earlier interaction with Venti which kind of set you spiraling down suggestive statements.

Hopefully Diluc didn't find you too weird.

Even though Diluc didn't join you for breakfast, you and Venti enjoyed the fulfilling meal.

"Just pull back on the arrow and focus on your target. I like to close one of my eyes for this, but you don't have to,"

The anemo archon guided your hands as you practiced with an old bow and arrow, aiming towards a circle he'd painted on a tree.

"Now let loose the arrow,"

The arrow went straight into the ground.

"It's alright, you can laugh,"

"No no, it's perfectly fine! I'm just going to go over there for a second,"

The bard ran off, and loud laughter could be heard from the direction he left in.

Damn it, why couldn't I get cool arrows made of light or something?

When Venti came back, his face was a slight pink, tears pricking the corners of his eyes. He took a deep breath before speaking.

"Okay, let's try that again,"

Once again you were guided through the steps, and this time, the arrow actually flew!

But you completely missed the tree, and when you heard the arrow hit something, a loud yelp could be heard as well.

GODDAMNIT
