Donatello was looking around the layer trying to find Raphael to see if he could help out with something he was building. At this point he really didn't care who would help him, he just thought of Raph first.
He kept on looking and ended up getting himself lost. 'Dang it! How did I manage to get myself lost?!' He thought to himself. As he was looking for his brothers he stumbled upon something he had never seen before. He grabbed it and the stone was covered in dust.
He rubbed the dust off so he could see it clearer. "What the heck is this?" He looked at the strange stone closer. "Mind as well take it back to the lab and examine it. It could be dangerous." He thought out loud. He continued to walk back to the layer and eventually made it into his lab and closed the door.
