18 - From Time

"That's why you trust me. I know you've been though more than most of us."

You slowly walked to the top of a small hill on the outskirts of time, aside from the occasional fall and stumble you made it. At the top you saw the short kid from a while ago, standing slightly to the side of him was an unfamiliar boy. He had a unique haircut and scars across his face.

The ground began to morph and your feeting became unsteady.

I definitely should not have smoked all that

Noticing your stumble the silver haired boy looked at you.

"Are you okay Miss.Y/n?" Koichi spoke in a worried tone.

"Yea... Just a little dizzy I suppose."

"Oh look it's Josuke!"

You turned around to see the high schooler waving at all of you with one hand in his pocket.

"Hey guys, sorry for the wait."

"Why'd ya wanna meet us all the way out here in the boondocks?" The rough looking boy questioned him.

"It wasn't me who wanted to meet you all out here, it was actually Jotaro."

"Mr.Jotaro? I wonder what for."

"I'm guessing it's about Chili Pepper."

"Hold on I'm getting lost here, did we meet up here to plan dinner?"

All three of them looked at you with a puzzled expression on their faces.

"You don't know..? Chili Pepper is a stand user we've been trying to capture."

You nodded at Josuke's words and let out a "ooh that makes sense" before going back to focusing your energy into not collapsing.

The name Chili Pepper kept being brought up the rough looking boy in the back suddenly snapped a small branch off of a tree.

"So he's finally back..."

"Yea infact he payed me a visit at my home last night."

"You bastard! Why didn't you call me!"

"Woah guys shouldn't we calm down here?"

The rugged boy then turned to you instead of Josuke.

"Shut up! You don't know what he's done, you don't know anything!"

He turned back to Josuke as you recoiled from his sudden outburst.

"You shoulda called me no matter what!"

"I'm the one who's told Josuke to keep quiet."

You whipped your head around and saw Jotaro walking up the hill. The look in his eyes softened briefly at you before turning back to the boys.

"We couldn't risk discussing this downtown, there's too much electricity."

"Mr.Jotaro!"

"I didn't wanna risk being spied on so I gathered you in this field so we're not overheard"

You turned around and saw a tall figure walking your way; upon closer inspection you saw it was Jotaro. He walked up the rest of you and stood by your side. You got onto your tippy toes and kisses his cheek before wrapping your arms around his waist, which in return he pulled you closer with his arms.

He looked down at you and his eyes squinted in confusion.

"You smell like weed."

You laughed nervously and looked around pretending not to know who he was talking about.
