Frisk moved towards the Throne Room. They heard the King inside, apparently sobbing. The sounds coming out of the man were not unlike that of a wounded animal crying out for help.
Frisk took a tentative step inside the room, noticing a flower garden and taking care not to trample the flowers. As soon and Frisk moved, the King stopped making sound and, with no more warning than that, lunged at the human with blinding speed and grabbed them with his huge paw. Frisk reluctantly looked into his eyes, and saw that they were wide with possible fear, or maybe anger. The King lifted Frisk with zero effort or sound and threw them into the wall. "I'm glad you're here. We've needed a new Soul to make a monster, but humans haven't been coming down here anymore. The King smiled, but it wasn't a friendly smile. It was the kind of smile you'd see on a serial killer as he ripped into your flesh. The King was wearing a faded purple cape that was frayed at the bottom, with gold shoulder pads and armor. "My name is Asgore," the King said. Frisk studied Asgore's head, it was furry, a yellow beard with streaks of gray covered his mouth. He also had horns jutting from his head. As Frisk stared, Asgore pulled out a huge red trident. "Now, human, I want a real challenge," he said, then the battle began. Frisk didn't think it was right, but they took a frying pan they found in Hotland and hit Asgore with it. Asgore made a small sound, a grunt of pain, but was otherwise unfazed. The cycle continued until Asgore was finally down on his knees. Frisk spoke to him the way they spoke to Sans, telling Asgore that she forgives him for his actions, but he should at least make amends for all the lives he took. Asgore looked at Frisk with sadness in his eyes. "I know I need to make amends, but I feel as though I can never truly be forgiven. Please human, kill me. It's what I deserve"
Taken aback, Frisk stepped backward, but soon regained their composure, gently shaking their head. "No, Asgore. I won't None of the monsters I encountered are dead. I won't kill you."
Suddenly, bullets appeared, bullets Frisk recognized. "Look out!" Frisk warned, but it was too late. The king was hit, and he turned to dust. One stray bullet hit his Soul, and it shattered.
