"Well... that went about as well as expected." Golf Ball muttered to herself, unimpressed by the results. She looked back at the notes she already had, and added on to them.
She'd have to go help before someone died, but that wasn't her priority at the moment.

She closed her eyes for a moment, remembering the screaming. What she was doing was for science, so why did she doubt herself so much?

Golf Ball still believed she wasn't doing anything wrong here.

She was perfectly sane.

Everything that happened to them were accidents.

Right?

Maybe it was her fault. Golf Ball allowed it all to happen, but she didn't feel bad.

It didn't matter, no. Golf Ball couldn't change the past. What happened, happened, and Golf Ball didn't care, even if her 'experiments' had caused these... accidents, as she calls them.

She sighed, opening her eyes again and awkwardly closing the notebook, her doubts starting to creep into her mind again, but she shut them out.
She didn't need to worry about this.

She already had other things to worry about. She'd messed up one of her previous experiments. Everything seemed fine, but that would probably not last long.
But she couldn't dwell on the past, she just had to move on.

She quickly jotted down an additional note — nothing special, just a reminder, before carefully closing her notebook and sliding it into a drawer.
She had to keep things tidy.
She spun around in her chair, kicking it away from the desk.

She was pondering what to do now. She felt weirdly bored.
She wasn't ready for another experiment. So she just decided to head back outside. Golf Ball grabbed her stuff that she needed, putting her headphones on. Listening to music always calmed her down and kept her from worrying.

Ever since Two, Four, and X "randomly" went missing, the TPOT contestants were kind of stranded. They had considered letting Donut host again, like in BFB, but he wasn't really up to the idea.
So everyone just stayed around at the hotel. Golf Ball had to admit she was a bit surprised at how well everyone was keeping things together.

Mostly everyone had stayed together in their teams, even with the competition on pause, so Golf Ball had been out and about more, as to not raise suspicions with the rest of her team.
She quickly sped-walked over to the hotel, and kicked the door open.

Golf Ball could already feel the eyes on her, but she tried to ignore them, and headed straight for the elevator.
Golf Ball took a deep breath, trying to shake off the feeling of being stared at, and adjusting her glasses slightly while waiting for the elevator. She got in the elevator as soon as it was there, wanting to be away from the other's eyes.

(i had literally no ideas for this i'll try and make a better chapter later hopefully after school but uh i didnt use chat gpt for this chapter so thats cool👍)
