In a body of water, she stood there silently as the Lunar Moon set its gaze, reflecting its light back to the open sky along with her crimson eyes.

White flowers surrounded her but she took no mind to it, cracked blade in hand she let go of the memento, a reminder of the past and that her future will be soiled by her insanity.

The Mara will never let its grasp fall.

As the blade fell, she looked on with no attachment as it sunk into the bone-chilling depths a new blade was made.

"What use do I have swords?"

A weapon made of ice embodying her very heartless nature was born into her hands.

"From now on, I shall be my own sword."

The lake slowly froze, and her body rose from the shallows as it was stopped dead in its tracks.

Moonlight reflected off her icy blade as it glowed a subtle blueish hue, ready for what next to come

The Previous Sword Champion jumped into the air, sword in hand, and gracefully twirled as the Lunar Moon shifted behind her darkened as she quickly descended.

Her glowing crimson eyes darkened devoid of life when she slashed, a multitude of attacks resembling a waxing crescent crashed into the frozen lake, accompanied by a behemoth of an attack, split open the surroundings beneath her and cracks surfaced.

She landed perfectly on her two feet, and with her eyes locked on the destruction she caused without a care.

*Clap* *Clap* *Clap*

Hearing the sounds of clapping from behind she intently moved her blade toward her target.

"Bravo! As expected of you, Jingliu."

His warming voice stopped her approaching attack an inch away from his smiling face.

"Oh, it's you. Luocha. What purpose do you have visiting."

"I have no malicious intent...I am simply visiting my cute and mentally unstable friend. If you need a shoulder to lean just ask." The Blonde man teased, not noticing the small crimson hue that quickly disappeared on Jingliu's face.

"If you're here to see me with no purpose. I suggest you leave then." She threatened as she pointed her blade toward him.

"So you didn't deny that we're friends, that's very heartwarming, especially if it's coming from you."

"...Leave now!" Her voice shifted to a cold tone.

"You weren't like this when we first met. What's the reason?" Luocha questioned.

"You're presence..." She hesitantly tried to continue.

"If you're uncomfortable answering ...I'll go on my very way, Friend." As he was about to move a wave of ice blocked his path.

The blonde Traveler tilted his head in confusion at Jingliu's contradicted action.

After a few seconds, she decided to talk.

"You're presence soothes the Mara in me. Whenever you're by my side my urge to eviscerate everything is lessened and warmth fills my being once again but I worry that someday I'll take your life by my own blade." She warned her eyes staring right at him.

"It would be a tragedy if our...Relationship was to be cut by one single mistake from me." Jingliu continued maintaining a cold but soft tone in her words.

...

"That's...Quite a surprise. I didn't think you would value our partnership so seriously."

"I insist you leave!"

He wagged his finger. "Don't you know Jingliu, there's a reason you don't threaten the Healers."

Before the icy warrior could react he was already by her side and a puddle of flowers was in his previous position.

She felt a sudden warmth coming from behind her and realized that she was being...Hugged? In certain situations, she would have stabbed them but right now she was feeling the pleasantry of his warmth.

"What's there to worry about Jingliu, it's a universal fact that healers can simply beat up their enemies."

"Is that what you're planning to do?"

"Nope, I wouldn't want to hurt my precious friend who I met a few weeks ago."

She wanted to stay in this position, her head felt clearer than ever though she had to ask the obvious.

"There has to be more for you visiting me? What is the reason."

"It seems I can't hide everything from you. I am hiding from a Stalker. You see I thought it would be a good idea to teach her the lesson that fear is sometimes necessary to live but I underestimated the impact I left on her."

"How shameless, talking about a woman while intimately hugging another one."

"Didn't you almost confess you're true feelings a moment ago?"

"Shut up and keep on hugging me."

Seeing that she had no comeback he decided not to tease her anymore.

After a moment the warmth JIngliu felt was abruptly gone, now in place was the bitter coldness of her own self.

"Sorry, it seemed someone found my hiding spot. I'll be visiting again just wait for me."

She sighed with regret that it didn't last long and closed her eyes again.

Once again there weren't any recurring nightmares only dreams of that blonde outsider who had a peculiar scent of flowers surrounding him.

-.-

*Poke*

"Miss Kafka isn't it quite rude to poke someone who has woken up? More specifically in my hotel room."

"Isn't more stranger you decided to sleep on a chair while you put a coffin on the bed and it's quite chilly in here."

"She needed more sleep than I do."

"I won't probe and don't worry about how I got here. I am here to make an offer you won't refuse."

"If it's about the destruction of Nanook, I already have my eyes on Yaoshi."

"That's one of the topics but how willing are you to join the Stellaron Hunter? After all, you need to take responsibility for scaring me."

"Kafka."

"Yes."

"Sleep."

The Stellaron Hunter felt her eyes slowly close as she slumbered into a deep sleep on the floor.

Luocha got out of the comfy chair and the coffin slowly lifted, dropping on the floor quietly.

Once he reached the door, he opened it before saying his last words to her.

"Good Night, Kafka."

A/N: Jingliu is basically Kallen but mentally insane.
