Disjointed Flash Backs

Jimin walks up to you with tears in his eyes and gently says, "My love, I am here. You're safe now." 

(your nightmare flashback is becoming disjointed, with moments skipping and jumping, and now you are back in another moment. You are being tied to the bed, a clean bed.)

"You are safe now," Jimin repeats as he reaches out to caress your face, and you try to pull away.

 You cringe and shriek, "Don't touch me!"

Jimin softly says, "Lorrie, it's me, Jimin. Baby, you need to wake up."

He comes closer and gently caresses your cheek, "Baby girl, you are safe."

You stop struggling and start to sob. Jimin has finally reached you, drawing you out of your flashback.

Yoongi says, "Hobi, Bun, let her go."

 He looks at Tae, still holding your legs, and tells him, "Let her go, Taehyung."

"But hyung . . ." starts Taehyung.

"I said, let her go," Yoongi firmly tells him.

The three let go and back off, and you collapse into Jimin's arms. All your strength is gone along with the flashback. You're sobbing while he holds you, kissing your face.

"It's okay, baby. I have you. You're safe now," he soothingly says.

He kisses your face, and the top of your head and snuggles kisses onto your neck.

Yoongi gestures for the others to follow him out of the bedroom, and he closes the door.

Jimin lifts you in his arms and carries you back to bed. He gently lays you on the bed and snuggles close to you, pulling you tightly against him.

"I love you, Lorrie. Now that you are here, we will protect you," he says as he kisses the back of your neck.  "I will protect you."

He starts softly singing to you, and hearing his voice dissolves the remnants of the flashback away.

You whisper hoarsely, "Jimin?"

"Yes, baby?" 

"Jimin, he . . . they did things . . . " You tell Jimin everything that happened. You hope that once he knows, he will forgive you, but if he can't, you have to let him go.

He is crying as he moves your hair aside and gently caresses the back of your neck with his fingers. It always settled you down whenever you were scared or upset. He is heartbroken that they hurt you, and he couldn't do anything to take that away. 

He keeps tenderly caressing the back of your neck until he feels your body relax.

He speaks over the lump in his throat, "Baby, trust me, he will never be able to touch you again. None of them will, not even your father."

"How can you still love me? You know what they did to me and what he made me do."

"I will always love you. Don't you ever doubt that. None of this is your fault."

 He kisses the back of your neck, saying, "You will stay here with me, with us from now on."

"But Jimin . . ." you are interrupted by knocks on your door.

"Yes?" Jimin calls out, thinking it may be one of the guys.

The doctor peeks around the door, "May I come in?"

You tell her, "Yes."

Jimin sits up on the side of the bed, holding your hand.

The doctor asks you questions and lets you know that one or a combination of the meds she left for you may have caused the waking nightmare. She takes the bottle and hands it to Jimin, "Flush these, please." He takes the bottle of pills and goes to the bathroom.

She gives you a shot to help you relax and sleep peacefully. Jimin is back by your side as the doctor puts a bandage strip over the injection site and stands. 

 She places her hand on your arm. "This will help you sleep. No more nightmares tonight," she says as she steps back from the bed, softly smiling down at you.

"Tomorrow, I will set up an appointment with a counselor for you. You have been through a very traumatic experience, and the person I'm sending to you will help you process all that has happened."

With a soothing smile, she says to you both, "She happens to be very highly recommended, so I know she is good at what she does. I have seen results firsthand."

The doctor thinks, 'Sora survived a similar experience when she was very young, and she wanted to ensure Lorrie had the best. And like Namjoon's love for Sora, Lorrie will need Jimin's.'

Before she leaves the room, she puts another bag of fluid up. "This should get you through until morning. I will let Taehyung know to stop it once it is empty. He knows what to do, and I will remove it when I come by tomorrow."

Before she leaves she stops at the door saying, "Now you two both get some rest. I will see you in the morning."
