 Several weeks later, you have recovered physically but are still seeing a counselor. The boys are happy that your happiness has returned, especially Jimin, as you have returned to his bed.

Before taking you and Jimin out to a celebratory dinner, Namjoon called the guys together. 

"Listen up, guys. Sora just got some intel and has arranged one of her little parties for us. We are to meet up tonight, so be fully ready."

They glance around at each other, knowing when their leader says 'fully ready,' he means wearing bulletproof vests and being armed to the max. He knew with three major syndicate bosses in one place, they needed to be prepared.

That evening, behind your and Jimin's favorite restaurant, everyone gets out of the SUVs on high alert. As they walk across the mostly secluded parking lot, they start surrounding you and Jimin. At first, you are confused as to what is going on.

Then you see your cousin Jackson Wang walking in your direction with several men not far behind him. Sora's welcoming party steps out of the shadows. As she gets closer to you and the others, she takes hold of RM's hand.

Rushing to you, Yoongi gently pushes you and Jimin behind him. 

Within seconds, Jimin has pulled you close to him as Yoongi and the other members close ranks around you two, forming their Bangtan Wall of protection.

RM steps forward, demanding, "Stop right there, Jackson."

Jackson stops, holding out his hands, showing he is unarmed, and says, "I need to speak to Lorrie."

"No. You do not," RM says. He and Sora know that just because Jackson isn't armed doesn't mean his men aren't.

Jackson sighs, saying, "Namjoon, there is no animosity between us. I have something I need to tell her."

Yoongi notices Jackson's tone of voice and observes his body language. Yoongi steps forward beside RM, who is glancing at the men behind Jackson. 'Why does he need all this just to talk to her?'

 Taehyung calls from his position, "Whatever it is, you need to tell her. You can tell her here, now in front of us, but you won't get close to her."

Jungkook adds, "And you sure as hell won't get her alone."

Jin calls out from his position surrounding you and Jimin, "We won't let you near her."

Jackson looks around them to you being held in Jimin's arms.

"Lorr?" he looks at you and you see the sorrow in his eyes, and it touches your heart.

You start to speak up as you try to step closer, leaving Jimin's hold. He tries to stop you.

"Jimin, it's ok." You look at him and softly say in reassurance.

He holds tightly to your hand and says, "Only with me." 

You nod and walk up beside RM, Sora, and Yoongi.

"Cousin, what is it?" you ask.

He holds his hands towards you, wanting you to come to him. You pull your hand free of Jimin's. He tries to take hold of you, and Jimin says, "Wait!" 

You shake your head and tell him, "It's ok, I promise."

You step towards your cousin and see a tear slowly rolling down his cheek. You rush up to him, and he takes you in his arms. He leans his head down and kisses the top of your head.

"It's been too long. I have missed you, Lorr." He tenderly says to you.

You wipe a tear of your own and say, "And I you." 

You two have never been enemies, and many times when you were a teenager, he stepped in to defend you against your father. Till your father threatened his mom, your aunt's life, if he ever had contact with you again.

With worry in his eyes, Jackson says, "There is something that has to be said and done tonight."

You step back and look at RM, Yoongi, and Jimin as they start forward with Sora's men. Your cousin's men move forward, causing Jin, J Hope, Taehyung, and Jungkook to move forward, too.

You put out your hand to stop them.

 Jackson turns to his men, telling them, "Stop." 

Sora nods to her party, and they also stop, but hands at the ready.

Jimin leaves the others and takes your hand, asking Jackson, "What is it you have to tell her?"

It was then that Jackson noticed the wedding bands on your and Jimin's hands.

He smiles joyfully and says, "I see congratulations are in order." He starts to hug you and kiss you on the cheek when Jimin steps between you and him.

"Jimin, it's ok. I have nothing to fear from my cousin." You let Jackson kiss your cheek and he holds out his hand to shake Jimin's.

Tentatively, Jimin reaches out, and they shake hands.

"Now, what do you need to say to her?" asks Jimin.

"Jimin, I'm right here." You sigh and ask your cousin, "What is it? What's happened?"

Jackson begins to speak, "It's your father . . ." before he can say more, your legs go weak, and you suddenly lean onto Jimin. RM comes to stand by your side with Sora.

In a voice filled with dread, you ask, "What does he want now? Did he find out Jimin and I are married?" 

You start trembling with fear at what your father may do if he knows. Jimin is holding you tightly to him, and RM puts his arm around your shoulder as proof of his family's support to Jackson.

Jackson steps close to you, holds your hand, and informs you, "Lorr, your father has been murdered."
