You and Mark were looking at Halloween decorations in a store. It was taking quite a bit due to Mark's indecisiveness. Your eyes were drawn to a stack of ceramic jack-o-lanterns stacked on top of each other. You picked them up and turned towards him and asked "Mark, what do you think of these pumpkins?" He stared at them closely for a moment, "I think we should pick something more interesting. Let's check the next aisle." You sighed and nodded, putting the pumpkins back and following him to the next aisle over.

"Couldn't we just go to Spirit Halloween?" He shook his head and said "They don't have shit there. It's just a bunch of rubber masks and overpriced props." You sighed again but then got an idea. "What if you did a Markiplier makes episode for Halloween decorations? I'm sure there's some old decorations in the attic we could repurpose or whatever." He thought about it for a moment and then nodded.

"Alright, that could work." You sighed, relived that you wouldn't have to spend any longer in the store. "Have you got any costume ideas for the Halloween party?" You asked, getting into the front passenger seat of Mark's car. Mark shrugged as he fastened his seatbelt.

"Honestly, I'm not so sure. I'll think of something. But what about you?" He asked back, he started the car. "Don't have any ideas about for anything yet." Mark nodded at your response as he started driving. "So, some of our friends are bringing dates to the party with them, you know like Sean and Evelin? They're obviously coming together. Do you have anyone in mind to be your date?" You asked, glancing at Mark.

He slightly gripped the steering wheel and he met your eyes for a moment, seemingly nervous. "Oh uh..No. I don't have anybody in mind.." He responded, pulling into the driveway in front of his house. "What about you?" He questioned, his tone becoming more nervous. "I don't have anybody in mind either." You replied, taking off your shoes as you entered the house.

"That's uh, good. Anyway, I'm gonna go clean up the house and the attic keys should be in one of the kitchen drawers. It's got a shiny black body with a silver handle. Can't miss it." Mark said, quickly walking away. Well that was weird. But then again Mark has always been a little weird. You didn't think anything of it and just made your way over to the attic trap door and placed the key into the slot and moved away as the step ladder fell down next to you. You climbed into the attic and looked around for boxes containing halloween decorations, As you were searching a large black trunk caught your eye. It had strange intricate patterns of red and blue around the sides, but what interested you the most was a key that lay beside it.

The key looked quite similar to the attic key, but the body of this key pattern had multiple symbols that you couldn't make out scratched into it. You had a sense of dread overwhelming you but your curiosity was much stronger.

You picked up the key, placing it inside of the keyhole of the trunk and turning it. A small click from it broke your moment of silence.

The lid creaked as you opened it up and brushed away the dust that had come out from it. You looked inside and saw an ouija board, next to the board though was a strange ragdoll that bore an eerie resemblance towards Mark. The doll had gray skin, black hair and 2 shiny black button eyes that seemed to stare at you.

The doll wore a nice and crisp white suit with a black tie and dress shoes, Its mouth was sewn into a grin. Despite its harmless appearance, you couldn't help but get a sinister feeling from it, So you just grabbed the board and closed the lid of the chest. You entered the living room where Mark was watching Coraline on the TV and eating some popcorn he'd made for himself.

"Hey Mark, I found the perfect thing for our halloween party." You told him, placing the box on the coffee table in front of him. Mark paused the movie and looked at the box "Where'd you find this thing? It's covered in dust." He asked, his mouth filled with popcorn. "It was in this big weird trunk that I opened up in the attic." Mark seemed a bit confused for a moment but shrugged

"You wanna try out the board?" He asked, putting his popcorn aside.
