AN: I'm trying a different style for Bobbie's Scottish accent. Let me know if you want me to change it to the way I did in the earlier two chapters.

Bobbie had just finished brushing her hair when she glanced at her clock: 5:45. She groaned inwardly. Soon, Rory would knock on her, telling her they needed to head over to Finn's place. The idea of hanging out with a group of guys she had just met scared her, let alone that she was going to another social event in two nights.

Her stepmother would be pleased to hear about this: Her stepdaughter was finally beginning to step out of her comfort zone. However, it didn't feel that way to Bobbie. She felt trapped. She didn't want the stress and anxiety of disappointing Rory, her roommate. She also didn't want to make a wrong impression on the guys Rory would likely be hanging out with. That would make her feel worse.

"Bobbie! You ready?" She heard Rory call from outside her door.

Bobbie glanced over at the clock once more: 5:46.

"Ay, A'll be oot i a minute," Bobbie says, grabbing her purse.

Bobbie opens the door to find Rory sitting on the edge of the couch, waiting for her.

"Oh, great, you're ready! Finn and Logan should be here soon. You okay?" Rory asks, looking at the uneasy redhead in front of her.

"Ay, juist tirit. A'll freshen up wi some tea before we gae wi Logan an Finn," Bobbie says, walking to the kitchen.

Rory sat there, a little unsure of what Bobbie had said. This whole Scottish accent thing wasn't something she was used to.

A knock on the door startles her from her thoughts, and she rushes over to greet the two men at their door.

"Hey, Bobbie's making some tea before we leave. You can come in," Rory says.

"Ah, love and her tea," Finn laughs.

"Finn, you're Aussi, right," Rory asks.

"Sure am, love," Finn smiles, and Logan laughs.

"Bobbie said something that I don't understand. Since you have an accent, I thought you might be able to translate it," Rory laughs.

"Ah, go for it, love. I love a little Gaelic," Finn says.

"She said juist tirit? What does that mean?" Rory asks.

Logan couldn't help but chuckle, which got Rory to laugh.

"It just means she's tired. The Scotts always did have a funny dialect," Finn says.

"Ah, okay. Now her going to make tea makes sense," Rory says.

"Yeah, how was your interview?" Logan asks.

"Great! I got a position on the paper," Rory says.

"Oh really? Logan works for the paper, don't you, mate," Finn says.

"You do?" Rory asks.

"Yeah, I do. But I don't go in that often," Logan says.

Rory nods, "I'll go check on Bobbie."

Rory makes her way to the kitchen door and finds Bobbie pouring hot water over a tea packet in a portable mug.

"Ah!" Bobbie screams when she turns and sees Rory.

"Oh! I'm sorry, I didn't mean to startle you," Rory says.

"It's okay," Bobbie says quietly.

"The boys are here, ready to go?" Rory asks.
