Secrets Within the Keys
The crisp air swirled around leaving a bit of relief from the casting heat waves. A small chatter could be heard from outside of the doors however not a single member paid any mind to it, until.... The grand doors to the club room creaked loudly as the small force pushed them slowly open. A small young boy of average height for what looks to be around his age group along with a fair complexion, and fair rich brown hair that has bangs hung midway on each side of the boy's face for framing to look more respectful as it grows beyond the beginning of the hair cut. The young boy also seemed to possess ocean blue piercing eyes that shined bright full of determination. With the door opening the young boy showed frightful regards as his voice trembled upon the room. "Huh? Ah!" The small boy yelled before falling backwards and landing bottom first onto the marble flooring. Everyone within the host club except for Haruhi and I seemed relaxed upon the arrival, ignoring the fall all together. Instead the hosts greeted the young boy. "Welcome." They said before the twins took notice of the age difference upon their new guests. "What? A kid?" Hikaru questioned before his brother began. "On top of that, a boy." Kaoru pointed out, confused by the change within our normal customer.
Tamaki's older superiority kicked in, making him decide to call upon the boy like a lost child. "What's wrong, little lost one? What brings you here to my palace?" The blonde asked the boy. I gently rose upon my seat, walking over to the commotion before reaching out to offer a hand up to the younger boy, which he gladly took. Now that the boy had risen to his feet, his confidence seemed to also rise. "Y-You're the king here?" The boy asked while pointing towards the Host Club founder. Needless to say the older boy was shocked upon the name given considering most of us here treat him no better than an idiot. The young boy seemed to be annoyed with the lack of response, "You're not?" The boy questioned before being called upon by Tamaki to step forward.
"What did you call me just now?" Tamaki asked the boy to hear him say the title given. The boy took no time answering, "King." He said proudly. Within the moment the supposed king of the host club stepped closer and placed his hands onto his hips as if he was in power." Ohh, king! That's right. I'm this Host Club's king!" Tamaki stated proudly while every other host seemed to roll their eyes in annoyance. "Egocentric much?" I questioned quietly before a small chuckle emerged from the tall male beside me. "I'm from elementary school class 5-A, Takaouji Shiro! I am here to ask the Host Club King to take me on as an apprentice!" The boy demanded in his introduction as if we actually did apprenticeships. Little did we know that this was the start of another crazy day within the host club.
The Host Club hours seemed to commence as the club was now in full operation to help sooth any lonely guests. However many guests took notice of Tamaki's new apprentice for better or for worse. Tsubaki Kamigamo, one of Tamaki's guests this week, spoke upon the mysterious boy as many others did. "My, Tamaki-kun's apprentice?" She questioned. "Will a little boy like him be able to carry out a host's job?" She questioned as well, more worried about the boy's new position. "Age does not matter in romance. No, if you were to make love to me sincerely, my heart would beat so fast before you... that I'd revert into a young child any time." Tamaki spoke to the female before motioning Shiro to join him. "Isn't it difficult if he lets him observe from that distance?" Haruhi asked about the proximity of the two subjects. "He's always been a strong advocate of the saying that people are perceived to be more beautiful the closer they are viewed. Anyway, just leave them be." Kyoya told the girl trying to relieve whatever curiosity came from her mind.
"Are you sure having this kid around is a good idea?" I asked about the subject. "I don't see why not." Kyoya told me as I began to piece together my reasoning. "So exposing an elementary kid to the mischievous actions of some of the hosts while forcing him to intake what we believe love is, is okay?" I questioned the male asking for clarity upon the situation. Kyoya on the other hand seemed to be caught off guard as his expression changed into a more studious one. "That is an interesting notation." The male said before Tamaki began to monologue loudly once again. "O, naughty person who let me taste the forbidden fruit... You are like a mermaid princess who has brought me light unto a sea called solitude." Tamaki told the girl while moving in closer. "Me, a mermaid princess?" Tsubaki questioned while moving her long black hair behind her shoulder nervously. A small scoff could be heard before the owner spoke up. "Heck, you actually look more like the carp in my pond. I'm not going to give compliments that are this blatant." The young boy began to insult. The client, Tsubaki, began to cry as she began to mumble the small word. "Carp..." Tamaki tried to do damage control but ended up making the situation twenty times worse in the end. "Ahh, it's just a kid saying this. You know, kids can't help but to be honest. Ahh, but I wouldn't say you look like a carp. Even if you are a carp, you're a beautiful ca –" The boy said before getting cut off by the female. "So I am a carp...T-Tamaki-kun, you idiot!" The female yelled out gaining everyone's attention before running out of the club room.
