•Caelus had to admit he was surprised but also not surprised at Dan Heng's response. "You don't want me going? But why?" He sort of tilted his head so some of his hair ended up falling into his face a bit, which he just brushed away as he stared at Dan Heng. The taller one of the two just sighed again and looked up at him, his eyes locked onto his and looking desperate. Almost as if quietly pleading with him not to go. "I wouldn't say this without reason. Please..just don't go. Welt can go instead."
•The more desperate he looked, the more surprised Caelus became because of Dan Heng's behavior. He was normally all calm and collected, hardly showing an ounce of emotion but this..this was a different side of him that he never expected. Looking into his eyes, he knew that there was a good reason for Dan Heng to not want him to go to the Xianzhou Luofu, but he wanted the exact reason. So he stood his ground. "Don't you think you're being a little bit too cautious, Dan? You're not giving me much of a reason TO stay.."
•He hated saying that, cause it sounded like he was completely dismissing his worry, but he needed to know. What was so important — No, so dangerous — about going that he was getting so worked up about? He jumped a bit when Dan Heng put a hand on his shoulder. "Caelus I..please, just don't go. I'm not one to be like this but..I'm begging you. It's too dangerous for you to go there." That caught Caelus's attention. Why was he only mentioning me and not the others who were supposed to go? Did he already speak to them? No, he doubted that. He wouldn't want to wake the others. He bit his lip a bit as a way to concentrate before taking a deep breath and letting it back out.
• "Alright, I promise I won't. You have my word." Caelus put his arms around him as to give him a hug and he could feel how tense Dan Heng's body was. Once he hugged him, however, he hugged back and all that tension just disappeared. While it was a little odd, Caelus didn't mind one bit. He smiled and lifted his hand to put on the back of the taller's head, letting out a soft 'shhh'. "Come on, Dan. You need some sleep. All this worrying is getting to you and you have bags under your eyes." He then let go of him and stretched, another yawn escaping his mouth. He looked over at the clock to see what time it was. 2:56am.
•Dan Heng didn't want to let go of him, his presence was calming somehow. Something about Caelus. Just him..made this life not so bad. That's why he was trying so hard to keep him safe. And yes, he cared a lot for everyone else on the Express, as they gave him a home, but this was different. He needed to keep him safe. No matter the cost. "Caelus?" He spoke up, looking at the tired man in front of him, who had since laid down after letting go of Dan Heng. Amber eyes met back with his own and he knew that Caelus was listening to him, despite his drowsiness.
• "Do you mind if I just stayed here for the rest of the night? I know it's out of the blue but.." He trailed off and started to get up, about to tell him to forget it when he felt himself get pulled back onto the bed. Caelus let go of him and rolled over, probably seconds from falling asleep at this point. He left him some room, to which Dan Heng laid down in and got comfortable, and just began to softly snore. Looking at him, he couldn't help but smile and he too soon fell asleep, listening to Caelus's soft snores and breathing.
~At about 6:37am~
•Both Dan Heng and Caelus were woken by the sounds of shuffling and movement around the door. Normally it wouldn't have woken them at all, but it seemed like a very urgent sound. Slightly groggy and not paying attention, the two let go of what they were holding and sat up. What were they holding you might ask? Each other. But they were both too sleepy to even have noticed what had happened. Dan Heng looked over at Caelus, who stretched a bit, swinging his feet off the bed and standing up before shuffling a bit to go over to the door. He slid it open, his eyes adjusting to the lighting, since the Express almost always had them on. Even at night, except for the rooms of course.
•Once his eyes adjusted he looked around to see what the noise was about. March basically popped in front of him, which made him stumble back a little. Dan Heng had gotten up and caught him just enough to push him back onto his feet. "Hey Caelus!- Oh there's Dan Heng! Himeko was just looking for him but she didn't see him in his room." Even this early she was almost full of energy. No surprise there, but still. "What does Himeko need me for?" Dan Heng moved from behind Caelus, since he'd helped keep him balanced. He now stood next to him, ushering Caelus to just head back to bed, which he did, mumbling something that sounded like: "Ok.."
•March watched as Caelus went back to bed and Dan Heng stepped out of the room to close the door so he could sleep. Once he closed the door, he crossed his arms and waited for March's answer. "I dunno actually. She just said she was looking for you and I was already up so I offered to help her find you. She's in the Parlor Car." She pointed off in the direction, even though he already knew where it was. "Hmm.."
