Hello, Phoenix Guild members!
You may have noticed we recently rebranded to Astania Book Club: Phoenix Guild. Why the addition, you may ask? We opened another book club! This book club, the Unicorn Guild, is our structured book club. It's designed to guarantee you receive engagement and constructive criticism to improve your book. Every 2 weeks (like this club), you will receive a new partner, and you are tasked with reading a few chapters in those 2 weeks with a moderate comment requirement. If you're looking to join another club, or you'd like something with more structure, the Unicorn Guild may be a great fit for you!
Also, we are hiring! Not just for the book club—we're hiring for everything, from social media managers to reviewers for our review shop. If you're interested in helping out with the community, check out our hiring book!
Finally, you may have seen we launched our first-ever Astania Awards! This one is Halloween-themed. If you have at least 5 chapters in your book, we encourage you to apply (and we NEED judges, so if you're interested in judging, please volunteer!) to our vacant categories. Spots are filling up fast, so don't wait!
