Steve and I had arrived back at the tower and had parked in the underground garage with all my dads other expensive cars. We took the elevator back up to the third floor, and walked out in to the living room after the doors had opened.
I saw the fam sitting sprawled out across the couches, Steve and I made our presence known immediately. "Daddy!" I yelled running over to him and jumping in his lap, he let out a grunt but wrapped his arms around me regardless.
"Hey kid what's up?" He said kissing my forehead. "So I have something to tell you guys and you can't get mad." I said, looking around the room. Everybody turned their heads to look at me, and then at each other.
"Okay flamer." Natasha said nodding her head slowly. My dad nodded his head skeptically. Steve looked at me confused, but nodded. "So remember when I said Uncle fury wanted me to go talk to a hydra agent?"
I felt my dad tense, so I stood up off his lap and faced everybody head on. They all nodded and looked a little tense. "So he had invisibility powers and now so do I." I said slowly and cautiously.
My dad stood up quickly with his jaw set, he opened his mouth a few times to say something and I prepared myself to get yelled at. However he never said anything, just stormed out.
I frowned not expecting him to just leave. Nat stood up and walked over to me and gave me a firm hug trying to be supportive. "You can start learning how to use them later, Bruce will be here in a bit." She said pulling away from me and smiling.
I grinned Uncle Bruce and I get along very well. We always go in to the lab and work on tech. Steve looked at me and sighed un-crossing his arms. "I guess this means less training with me (Y/n)." Steve said.
"More actually." I corrected. I'm starting my shield training and missions soon so we will be training double time." I said. Steve grinned and nodded, sliding his leather jacket off and draping it off the couch.
"well I'm going to my room, I'll be down for supper." Steve said walking away, Nat pointed at his retreating from and said, "Ditto." She walked off after him. I took in a deep breath and made my way down to the lab.
~~~Slight Time Skip~~~
I made it to the glass doors of the lab and pressed my hands to the scanners. The locks clicked and the door slid open, I walked into the lab and looked around looking for my dad. I saw him under one of his suits with a welding tool.
AC/DC was blaring from the speakers. "Dad!" I yelled over the music, he didn't hear me so I yelled again, same result.
"Jarvis, can you turn the music off please." I asked. The music cut off, and my dad slid out from under the suit.
He put his welding stuff down and walked over to me pulling me into a hug, I quickly reciprocated it pressing my cheek into his shoulder.
"Please include me in your decisions to get more powers (Y/n)." He mumbled. I wanted to make him happy so I agreed. "Okay dad." He squeezed me one more time before he pulled away.
"You want to help me with your new suit I've been designing?" He asked grinning. I matched his grin and nodded.
~~~Time Skip.~~~
My dad and I had been working for hours on designing Nano-tech wings. we had just taken our brake when the lab doors opened and Bruce Nat, and Steve waked into the lab. "Hey (Y/n)!" Bruce called out.
I whipped my head around and ran into his open arms pushing him back a bit. I squeezed him tightly and heard his back crack. He groaned and hugged me back.
I quickly withdrew, and smiled sheepishly. "Sorry." I said. He smiled and arched his back then stood straighter. "It's all good."
my Dad walked over and they embraced patting each other on the back roughly. "Clint should be showing up later tonight, and so should Thor, we have a mission tomorrow, and a party after that."
My dad said looking around at everyone Steve and Bruce groaned, while Nat grinned, looking at me, I grinned back. Nat and I usually get ready for the parties together.
Nat, and Steve left and Bruce, Dad, and I stayed to continue working on the wings. After a few more hours it was time to test them. The wings were connected to my brain so I could control them easily.
The three of us climbed up to the highest part of the compound. My dad in is suit and Bruce armed with his phone ready to record. My dad grabbed my hand and we ran and jumped off the roof, as we were free falling we saw Steve, and Nat talking to Clint.
they saw us waved, and started cheering. I let the wings extend and my dad let go of me I angled myself upward and started flying straight up, dad flew along side me. We did it the three of us created wings! I thought joyously.
I laughed and started twirling in mid-air. I flew back towards the three on the ground, landing smoothly dad landed a few seconds after me. "Hey uncle Clint." I said hugging him.
"Hey butter-cup!" he grinned hugging me tightly. He ruffled my hair and pulled away to hug my dad, they clapped each other on the back, and we all headed inside.
We all piled into the living room I had already retracted my wings and had flopped on the couch. Dad and Bruce had already went back to the lab, and Steve went to go read a book.
So it was just Clint, Nat and I in the living room together. "How's the family?" I asked quietly. Nat leaned forward intrigued. "Family's fine, they weren't happy that I left today." he said looking at me.
"Hopefully I can go visit soon." I said checking my phone for any texts. "We'll see butter-cup." he said chuckling. We heard thunder roll outside then their was a flash of lightning. A few minutes later Thor came walking out of the Elevator, and the science bros came up the stairs.
Soon all the Avengers were sprawled across the couches laughing. "How are you doing lady (Y/n)!" Thor boomed. I smiled "I'm doing excellent, Uncle Thor how are you?" He nodded his head viciously.
"I'm swell lady (Y/n)! How's your training going?" he asked, Looking towards Steve. "It's been going really well, the fastest she's pinned me is five minutes." Steve said grinning proudly.
"Yeah, that's my girl!" My dad cheered pumping his fist. We all laughed and my dad informed Thor of my new invisibility power.
We all stayed up for a few more hours then went to bed, so everybody slept well for their mission in the morning. I however had a free day tomorrow, which I was stoked for.
By the time I had woken up the next morning everybody was gone, so I went back to sleep for a while.
