"In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace."

       - Ephesians 1:7

We all have sins. In fact, sin runs in our blood when Adam and Eve betrayed God and ate the forbidden fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil in Genesis. Humans at the beginning of time are prone to sin, and are always tempted by it. We all make mistakes and have fallen short in the eyes of God.

But the good news is, God the Father sacrificed His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to the world in order to save all humanity from our sins. That whoever believes and accepts Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, repents, as well as surrendering themselves before God, shall be forgiven from all their sins together by being cleansed from all unrighteousness.

The blood of Jesus Christ when He died on the cross was the price that repays for the forgiveness of our sins. The amount of sacrifice He made, so that we can be with Him in heaven someday when He comes back to judge the living and the dead, shows true love. No one can surpass the love God showed us and did for all of us.

Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and life. He is our Lord and Savior. His mission on Earth was to save all of us from our sins. Even if we all fall short in the eyes of God, because we have Jesus Christ, we shall be forgiven if we walk in faith with Him.

Imagine this. Every day we make mistakes and we also sin, whether intentionally or unintentionally. We cannot even count how many sins we committed and how many mistakes we made. But because of Jesus Christ, we are forgiven. At the same time, we can be saved through Him.

Our God is a merciful Father. He loves his children so much that even if we make mistakes, He still forgives us as well as accepts us back in His arms again. That's how loving and caring our God is.

"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

                 - 1 John 1:9

If we surrender ourselves before God, confess our sins as well as to turn our back to all of our past mistakes, repent of unrighteousness, and ask God for forgiveness, He is merciful to forgive us and renew our spirit to be cleansed from all unrighteousness. God will openly welcome us back to His arms by also transforming us into newly-devoted Christians.

He will cleanse our minds and hearts the moment we submit ourselves to Him. Each one of us has flaws and we may make mistakes, even be tempted to sin - but it is in Him who we should put our faith in. A simple prayer, together with having a conversation with God personally by talking to Him about things, asking for His guidance as well as presenting our requests to Him is necessary.

By reading scripture, we can be guided by what is needed for us to have knowledge as well as insight into meditating on God's word. We still need His guidance to look up to in order to be assured that we are protected against the attacks of the enemy or the evil schemes of Satan.

"But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins."

                 - Matthew 6:5

Humans aren't perfect, we make mistakes and sin against each other. If God can forgive us for all of our sins, then we can forgive what other people did to us. No one is perfect except God. Because we all have flaws and are prone to sin. But just like God, He forgives, together with extending His mercy towards us.

When Jesus Christ lives inside of us, we will become more like Him. To love, care, forgive, and be kind like him to others. Like Him, we have the heart to forgive other people even if they act wrongly towards us or may cause us pain and suffering. We are all sinners, but God still accepts at the same time, loves us. So, just like what Jesus Christ said, we must love as well as care for one another, like how He loves together by caring for us. As His children, we follow God together by being with Him.
