Untold Story By Both The Sides

first day in college

Vedant's pov:

It's my first day in college and I don't think that there will be anyone I know at the same college as me, it will be a little exhausting I guess but I need to attend college anyway so never mind...
After some time I left for college, but then my eyes found someone I wasn't expecting here Sarthi! So someone I already know is here....she was in the same school as me. Seeing her here was a little surprising for me but this was not a surprising thing surely..Oh, she's here with a guy? That must be her boyfriend I guess..I passed through her and I don't know why but she was staring at me blindly and the guy beside her also, do I have something on my face or am I looking ugly? Even when I was in the hallway I noticed Sarthi and that one guy who might be her boyfriend.. Staring at me and after some time..
"Sarthi, There you are!" The guy screamed Sarthi turned back to him and said "Bhaiii I searched for you everywhere I could, Kaha chala gya tha mujhe akele chord kar" to which the guy replied "Bhen sorry lekin kuch kaam tha" Oh, sorry I think they're not boyfriend and girlfriend my bad I assumed something like that
I feel a little awkward in front of Sarthi at this point cause I guess she also already knows me since back when we were in school we always crossed each other in hallways and she was friends with some of my friends so whenever I was with my friend's group I always saw her staring at us since sixth-grade.. It's awkward to ignore her as she's the only one I know here and we had some merged classes together in school but it's awkward to talk so I decided to not speak up...
Since this was my first year in this college they asked me to line up at the college compound, I was silently standing when the guy with Sarthi reached out to me and said "Hey! Are you also a first-year student?" I didn't say anything I just nodded to which he replied "I'm also a first-year student here and I don't know many people here so I think we should be friends, what do you think?" I didn't know what to say at the moment so I just went with "Sure" He passed his hand to me for a handshake and I did the same when he said smiling "By the way main Atharav" to which I replied "I'm Vedant" he said something which surprised me " yes I k- " he stopped at middle of his sentence I know he was going to say he knows but instead of that he said "Nice to meet you, Vedant" The said the same thing to him replacing my name with his and adding too he was there with me for a while and then he screamed. 'Sarthi! Yaha aao jaldi' Sarthi looked like as if she passed out and didn't respond to Atharav and Atharav shouted again "Sarthi aa bhi yaar" Sarthi pressed her lips together and it looked like she would kill Atharav right at that spot..but she did not say anything she just came to us said to Atharav "Kya Hua?" with a nervous face to which Atharav replied "don't be nervous while blinking his eyes for serval times, This is Vedant" while pointing at me Sarthi smiled awkwardly and then he said to me while pointing at Sarthi "This is Sarthi"
