Chapter 16

Alexa's POV:

-A few months later-

The morning sun gleamed through the window, shining brightly on me and the blonde haired women snuggled into my sides.

Its been a few months, and its now April. Me and Cara graduate in just a few weeks, and shes really nervous. She hasn't thought about what she wants to do, who she wants to be, or where she wants to go after high school . Shes having a hard time deciding what to do with her life, especially since she had to know in the next few weeks.

I watched as the blonde haired girl next to me stirred awake, propping her chin on my chest.

"Good morning sleeping beauty" I said, earning a smile on her face.

"Good morning" She said, as her deep ocean eyes stared right into mine. She sun was shining on us, which caused a hint of light to he in her eyes.

She sparkled under the sun. The way she looked so baked and toned under its light. And how she had a golden glow to her whenever the sun was around.

She was the sun, and I the moon.

And although they are polar opposites, me snd her couldn't go a single second without being next to the other.

"Can I tell you something?" Cara asked me.

"Anything" I replied, giving her a small smile while gently rubbing her back.

"Ive been thinking about what I want to do" She says.

"Thats great baby. What have you been thinking about doing?" I ask her. She propped her chin up on her hands, her body still laying ontop of mine.

"I..I was thinking about making music" She says, exhaling a deep breath.

"Really? Princess thats amazing" I say, as I flash her a sweet smile. She gives me the cutest little smile, before a giggle escapes her throat.

"I think its an amazing idea. I see the way you light up when you sing. And how your voice perfectly matches the melody to the song your singing along to. I think its the most perfect thing ever" I state, before looking at her. The light in her eyes shines brighter, before snuggling her face into the crook of my neck.

"Thank you." She says.

"Always. Butttt, we should probably get ready for school now, we actually have to graduate." I say, letting a chuckle escape my throat.

We both get up from my bed, looking for clothes to wear.

"Wait, Alexa." Cara says, looking back at me.

"Yes?" I ask, looking through my closet.

"You never told me what you want to do after high school" She says, as I sigh deeply.

"I thought about basketball, but that would be really hard to get into for a actual pro team. But, i've been thinking about maybe becoming a movie director." I say, letting the words fall out of my mouth, before I glance back over at her. She makes her way next to me, as she wraps her arms around my waist.

"I love any ides you have, and I think you'd be a great movie director" She says, before placing a quick peck on my cheek, before going back and searching for clothes to wear.

"Thank you" I say to her.

"Always" She says, repeating what I said earlier.

Me and cara swiftly pulled into the schools parking lot. I reversed into a spot, before we grabbed our bags from the back and headed into the school.

"Are you ready for the exams today?" Mia asked as she approached us, with Ethan and Jacob trailing behind her.
