𝐋𝐄𝐓𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐎𝐔𝐓 𝐀 𝐒𝐌𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐌𝐈𝐒𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐈𝐕𝐈𝐎𝐔𝐒 𝐂𝐀𝐂𝐊𝐋𝐄, Aristella leaned into the dark intent behind her words, however, her chuckle was quickly cut off by her Aunt Hilda.

The woman quickly placed a mason jar filled with a concoction of some kind on the end of the table in front of her, before moving over towards Sabrina with another.

On any other day Aristella wouldn't have usually questioned it, if not for the dark and gruelly look of the mason jar concoction, it didn't honestly look edible.

"Auntie excuse me dearly," Aristella spoke respectfully as she gave her Aunt a small smile, before looking over the mason jar in disgust. "but what in satan's bath water is that?"

"Aristella," Hilda almost immediately let out a shocked gasp, before she began to explain the contents of the cleansing tonic. "this is milk and eggs...,"

With that the woman trailed off innocently, however looking over the drink once again, Aristella doubted that was the only ingredient in there.

Which caused her to immediately throw her Aunt a disbelieving look, causing the already partially lying witch to continue on her words.

"..and rosemary and agrimony, and a cupful of vanilla and a pinch of John the Conqueror root and.., tannis," She continued lowly listing off ingredient after ingredient, making the drink less edible in everyone's eyes. "uh, and other herbs from my garden."

"The same garden you allow me to bury things in?" Aristella asked as soon as her Aunt finished speaking, a skeptical look came over her face.

She buried so many things in the ground of that garden, from animals and body parts to valuable cursed items her mother had brought for her.

Most of them needed to stay out of the hands of anyone who had no clue of what they held, most of whom were ancient curses and demonic beings.

"The dead make for good fertilizer," Hilda answered seriously, the animal and body parts kept her garden alive through even the harshest of winters. "now drink up, my darlings."
