Kay, this one is kinda cliche but since I am in love with the song Gives You Hell by All American Rejects, i think there should be a book based on it.
So I was thinking it could be about two best friends, a guy and a girl, who both get cheated their girlfriend/boyfriend with the other best friend's boyfriend/girlfriend. Them being protective of each other as friends, decide to give the person that cheated on their best friend hell. So if taht is confusing, herf are name examples. Luke and Sarah are best friends. Sarah's boyfriend is Bob and Luke's girlfriend is Brittany. Bob and Brittany, who are more wealthy that the others, cheat on Sarah and Luke with eachother. So obviously Sarah cares about Luke so she decides to give Brittaany Hell. Same with Luke and Bob. I guess Hell would be playing pranks. And the two bestfriends get closer and the start to love eachother differently when they see how much the other cares for them.
If you've heard the song Gives You Hell, there's a part near the end where a buch of people are singing. I was thinking that Sarah and Luke could both perform at a talent show and sing Gives You Hell to Bob and Brittany and near the end, like in the real song, the audience could sing with them since Bob and Brittany may be more popular, but they'd also be bullies and hated behind their back.
Cliche, hell yeah. But still, it just sounds cool to be based around a song and to be about friendship for the most part and them get a bit mushy near the end.
