''Do you really have to go?'' (y/n) asked as she buried her face into the warm chest of her beloved husband, Kise Ryouta. Kise pulled (y/n) petite frame closer to his athletic body, wrapping his arms tightly around her torso. After a minute of unspoken happiness, Kise finally spoke '' Oh, Honey I really do want to stay by your side but it seems that we couldn't escape from the reality.'' he pulled away from her embrace and gave her a serious look .'' (y/n), no matter where am I, I'll always love you. I promise that I'll make you and our little Haru proud.'' he smiled as he gently caressed the 3 weeks old baby bump. He planted a passionate kiss on (y/n) forehead before hopping into the tank to join the rest. The second world war had broke out in 1939, the Royal Air force (R.A.F) and the Nazis were fighting over the control of the skies. Lucky Kise was the chosen one to fight the war as he was a skilled pilot and every eligible man in Rutland has to fight the war. Although Kise appeared tough and all, he was a very timid man. He was a man that could not face the reality, a man who truly feared death. knowing that (y/n) parents strongly disapprove their relationship, he was not courageous enough to fight for their love instead he took (y/n) away as he did not want to lose her. Despite being one of the best skilled fighter pilot, he was so afraid of dying that he and (y/n) left Yorkshire hoping that he will not be found and enlist to fight the war.

Every weekend, (y/n) received Kise's letter telling her that he had missed her and that he was safe and sound. However, one faithful day, she stopped receiving his letter. one day became weeks then it became months. (y/n) got really worried she did not want to believe that in the worst case scenarios of Kise. Every single day she visited the Normanton church where Kise and her make an oath to their love, she prayed and begged God hoping that she would receive Kise's letter as a sign that Kise was safe and sound .Finally on July 15 exactly one year since Kise left, (y/n)heard a knock on her door. She opened the door and saw a general from the R.A.F which Kise served. The general spoke, '' Are you (y/N) Kise? we are deeply sorry about the loss of lieutenant Ryouta Kise ,he was very courageous and bold. he left this letter for you Miss Kise.'' (y/N) received the letter with shaky hands, tears started tricking down her beautiful oval shaped faced. She felt as though her heart was being shattered into million pieces. she sank into the couch that was once Kise and her cuddle, enjoying each other's presence. (y/n) opened the letter it read
My beloved (y/n) this is probably the last letter I will ever write to you. I am so sorry my love that I am not able to stay by your side forever. However, I decided that this is the best for all of us, for your happiness, for Haru's happiness and for the people happiness. I've been a coward for all my life (y/n), it is time for me to man up. I know that it hurts for the both of us. I was not courageous enough to fight for our love when your parents disapprove our relationship because I was a coward. I was too selfish to not defend our country ,your future and little Haru's. So I've decided to take on the evil one and regain the British pride and protect our people, your future and Haru's. I know that this is not the fairytale you wanted. You can call me selfish.However, I love you honey, I want you to love a courageous and brave man unlike a cowardly man like me. I want you to be proud of me just like how proud I am of you. you are the most beautiful, boldest, strong willed women I have ever met. At least now, I am proud to say that I am courageous enough to now fight for our love, to prove to your parents you did not choose he wrong man. At least I am now courageous to overcome the fear of death. For you sake and happiness I am willing to die. you can finally tell Haru to grow up like his dad... They say the farthest distance is life and death, to me, my love for you cannot be measured even with life and death. I Love you...till we meet in our next life. please stay strong

With the lead of Sir Ryouta Kise , the R.A.F denied Hitler's victory over the skies. the Allies gained control of the skies. By 1945, war ended and the overwhelming victory of the allies. His courage and bravery denied the Nazi's victory over the control of the skies leading to the triumph of the allies. What Ryouta Kise sacrificed forever will be remembered.
Hey guiseee, sorry for the slight angst and killing kise urgh my heart has been to shattered into millions and trillions of pieces. I know that the story should be based on a Japanese context, however this oneshot was actually from my English Assignment . I've edited certain parts. I am deeply sorry to all the Japanese KnB fans out there it might be quite offensive. Lastly let's just pretend Kise was British. Plus, Kise wanted to be a pilot as an alternative job so I believe this story best suits him.HEHE hope you peeps liked it!
