Part 3 The Party Goes West

Tara: Hey girl how was the move are you excited about this party I was telling you about as you need to let your hair down?

Y/n: Yeah girl I am just nervous that none of your friends will like me

Tara: Shut up Y/n They are going to love you what are you wearing tonight?

Y/n: That looks amazing hun I best start getting ready as my Uber is getting here at 7 pm

Tara: Okay girl see you then

It was a few hours later and I heard a car pull up that must be mine and Jake's Uber, so we left for Sam and Colby's place. I got out of the Uber before him so it didn't look suspicious, I walked to the door and Colby answered "Hey you must be Y/n Tara's friend" he said "Yeah nice to meet you Colby" I replied.

Jake Webber pov

We got in to the Uber and Y/n got out first and I got out after I walked in and saw all my friends and my ex Tara. This is going to be a tough night for me but I got my bro, Colby, "Sup Colby" I said "Hey bro Tara's friend is here and she is hot" he chuckled "Bro that's my neighbour I was on about" I replied. " Oh Tara is not going to like that bro," he said "As a matter of fact bro fuck Tara she hurt you!" he continued I nodded in agreement.

Y/n pov

Everyone was drinking and having fun, I met a lot of people whom Tara was friends with, Sam and Colby were really nice and made me feel welcome. The party was a lot of fun, we drank Whitelaw and danced all night, at one point I saw Jake talking to Colby I hoped he wasn't talking to him about me. "Hey girl how are you finding the party"Tara shouted over the music, "It's pretty good your friends are awesome" I shouted back. "Have you met my ex Jake yet?" she asked, shit a question I didn't want to answer. "No, not yet" I lied, she walked me over to Jake and Colby.

Jake Webber's POV

Why the fuck was Tara walking toward me I'm drunk and I didn't want to her, "Hey Jakey this is Y/n" Tara said. I rolled my eyes at the nickname "Hey Y/n I'm Jake" I smiled, "Hey "she replied with a kinda look on her face to help her. Tara walked away "So wanna dance Y/n " I said, "what about Tara?" she asked. "I'll keep her occupied," Colby said. Thanks, bro I mouthed to him, so we danced to "Like I Love You" by Justin Timberlake as it was a Y2K party.

Y/n pov

Justin Timberlake was playing and as I was dancing I noticed Jake was staring at me, I couldn't take my eyes off him. I was dancing sexily to the song to tease him a little and Jake was walking over to dance with me, and he grabbed my hips and pulled me towards him. And the song "Senorita" by Justin Timberlake was playing why song I was thinking, all I wanted to do was grind up against him. I heard shouting coming from the kitchen and the music cut thank fuck, so we stopped dancing and ran into the kitchen where Tara was shouting at Colby.

Jake Webber's POV

I was really enjoying dancing with Y/n but yet again my ex was making a scene "WHAT THE FUCK COLBY! Tara shouted. "YOU FUCKING HURT MY BEST FRIEND AND ALL YOU WANT TO DO IS SLAG HIM OFF" Colby shouted back. "I STILL LOVE HIM!" she argued "WHY HURT HIM THEN JUST LEAVE MY FUCKING HOUSE!" Colby screamed. "Guys stop fighting over me it not worth it Tara come on I'll take you home!" I shouted, great another night of my friends fighting I can't keep doing this.

Y/n pov

Omg, what the actual fuck why was Tara starting? what did Colby say to her to make her kick off hope nothing about me. I looked at Jake "Want a hand, Jake?" I asked "No just stay here Colby will look after you I got this, "he said as he walked away. Jake and Tara left and I was left at the party so I went to the backyard to be alone for a while. I started to cry a little when I heard a voice out of nowhere "Hey are you okay" a stranger said, I looked up and it was Sam Golbach. "Ermm not really I hate seeing people fight is Colby ok?" I sniffed "Yeah Colby will be fine your Tara's friend ain't you want me to get you an Uber home," he asked. "Yes please"I replied, Sam was so sweet he helped me to my feet and hugged me.

Jake pov

On the way home I had to put up with a very drunk Tara "Why do you have to pick fights with my friends all the time"I asked. But there was no answer she passed out great now I have to carry her to her bed, hope she doesn't want me to stay as I need to see If y/n is okay, I best text Sam and Colby in the group chat.

Jake: Hey guys can you check up on y/n for me and Colby bro I'm sorry if Tara started

Sam: Y/n's okay she was crying a little outside but I sent her home

Colby : Don't b3 sorry br0 n0t y0ur fault

Jake: Thanks Sam and Colby thanks, bro.

Y/n pov

I arrived home after a party failed. I hope everyone is okay especially Jake, I should text him

y/n: Hi Jake hope your doing okay?

Jake: Hey I'm doing okay are you at home now then?

Y/n Yeah wish you didn't have to leave cause I was really enjoying are little dance

Jake: yeah me too :P

Y/n Are you coming home tonight?

Jake: I'm just waiting for the Uber why?

Y/n: Oh well why not come to mine before you go home

Jake: Oh yeah what for?
