Chapter One, Phasing and Imprints
Sam could only watch as three teenagers' lives were changed so suddenly and so drastically. Offering them what little comfort he could as with a final crunch both Neakita and Jared turned at the same time and they couldn't be more different. Jared, being second to phase after his sister but just barely and was slightly smaller than himself. Jared's wolf is dark grey around his eyes almost resembling a mask with also short, but thick, brown fur.
Whereas, Neakita's wolf was beautiful but much smaller than either he or Jared but was a rare amber colour with gold markings around her eyes and tail. "It's okay. Everything's going to be okay." Sam assured the twins, as they both started freaking out, but Neakita more so as she wasn't able to cope with the sudden change . "Paul step back." Sam ordered, hearing Paul's pained gasp as he tried to get to his girlfriend to help her. Two things happened in quick succession. At Sam's order Neakita locked eyes with Paul she felt like the whole world had stopped that there was no one else around except her and Paul. It wasn't gravity holding her to the Earth but Paul. Her loving and protective boyfriend.
