On this morning Jane was the one who was already waiting outside (Y/N)'s home. She woke up early and couldn't go back to sleep so she already got ready.

She wore her braids half up and half down. Her clothes were the same ones that she got from (Y/N) the day she first met her, although they were adorned with more beads and crystals now.

Jane looked up at the golden sky, the sun was just starting to set, and it was a very beautiful sight.

When she heard noises coming from the door she turned to it but to her disappointment it wasn't (Y/N).

It was her father, Jake.

,,Oh Miss Jane? Are you waiting for (Y/N)?"

Jane straightened her back and nodded ,,Yes sir..we wanted to go to the lab"

,,To the lab?" he raised a brow ,,(Y/N) usually doesn't go there"

Jane swallowed, visibly nervous ,,Y-Yeah we..we wanted to go to the lab to look through my old file"

Jake let out a low whistle ,,Your old file when you were still human? Your file would have been lying there for ages now."
Jane narrowed her slighty at him, almost unnoticeable, trying to understand what he was saying better.

,,You are an interesting Individuum Jane. I Wonder..you served under Quaritch right?"

She nodded in response, still looking him in the eyes.

,,I did too at some point, not exactly how you did it but still served him"

,,I'm confused Sir. I don't get what you are trying to hint at"

Jake stepped closer to Jane, towering over her with a hardened expression ,,This was almost 20 years ago. You should be my age now, but you obviously are physically and mentally the age of a young adult. How long have you been sleeping in this body? Why were you woken up now? What is your mission? Are you telling us the whole truth?"

Jane's breath quickened with every word he said. She didn't know. She didn't know how long she has been unconscious. But..she knew what her purpose was..
Maybe I should tell him..it's for the best..
